I stepped out of the Civil bureau, dressed in my yesterday's clothes with a marriage certificate in hand.
Staring at the bright rays of the sun, i exhaled deeply. Today, i had officially become Richard's wife albeit only on paper.
Glancing over my shoulders, i could clearly see him standing at the far off with his certificate - grinning from ear to ear, one would think that he had actually won a lottery ticket.
"Remember, this marriage is only on paper. As agreed, i've done my part and now I'm expecting that you will also fulfill your end of the deal", i said to him, watching as he snapped out of his happy daze.
"Ah!", he walked up to me in a few strides. "Most definitely.....i'll keep my side of the bargain."
