Earth I woke up what felt like minutes after I had left Andrew on his own before dawn. It felt as if I had only slept mere minutes instead of hours, even though the sun was already shining brightly and streaming into the cave.  Rubbing the sleep off of my eyes, I propped myself up and looked around the room. The fire had been put out and Alex was the only one besides me in the cave. Quickly, I stiffened as I looked around for any sign of Aileen. Her sleeping bag felt cold as if she hadn't been there in a long time. Cursing to myself, I tried not to think of what that would mean for her wound.
