I immediately apologized to my mother as one of the maids dashed in to clean up the mess I made.
Embarrassed with my own lack of self control I made my excuses to mother, but my mind was occupied with her and where she was. The need to see her, to make sure that no one touched her came to me.
"She went to the Smith's for dinner. That is why her brother came to pick her up."
Through the fog of my thoughts I heard my mother say as I tagged up and started walking in the direction of the docking stations..
