Finding Home Sweet Home

Alpha Lucky's POV

I spread out the map of our territory and circle some areas I think Gracie will love, and I have the whole day cleared so that I may take her to each site, and we can decide which one is best for us. I requested for a couple of our Omegas to pack a picnic with enough food for lunch and dinner just in case it takes us that long to visit each site.

I want to show her what it means to be cared for and not to be used or abused. I can not believe how lucky I am to be her True Mate. She is so kind and gentle; I can not even imagine how alone she felt being hunted by those two Alpha for their own gain and not caring about her feelings in all of this.

I will spend the rest of my life; showing her how much she is loved and cherished.

As I wait for Gracie to come to me, I look over the map one more time to make sure I have all the best locations marked, and I do so now I just wait for my Mate.

Gracie's POV

After I have had my breakfast, I was told to go to the Alpha's office and that he would be waiting for me. I knock and hear him say, come in, so I open the door and walked in.

{Gracie} You asked for me to come here to the office, Alpha?

{Lucky} Yes, I wanted to show you some sites where we can build our home. We will be gone most if not all day.

{Gracie} Oh, that would be wonderful!

{Lucky} Okay, get ready to leave in about ten minutes, okay?

{Gracie} I am ready now, Alpha, so whenever you are ready, let us go.

I watch as he locks up his office, and he grabs my hand, and we leave the house and get on an ATV to look at the first area. I love the peacefulness of the location, and the land is mostly flat, and it is worth considering.

We talked about the area; and decide to keep it as an option, and we leave for the second location. When we get there, I notice the land is not as flat and that the trees do not provide as much coverage as the first one.

{Lucky} What do you think of this location?

{Gracie} It has its perks, but it is not better than the first location. I think this one is not flat enough and not enough tree coverage. And it is farther from the stream than the first area.

{Lucky} I agree, so we can mark this one off the list.

{Gracie} Yeah, this is not the one for us.

Alpha Lucky's POV

I take her to the third location, and it is almost time for us to eat lunch, so I lay out the blanket while she is walking around looking at the area. And I watch her trying to imagine what it would look like with our home already to built on this site, and I see her shake her head and walk back towards me.

I am setting out our lunch, and when she reaches me, I hold out my hand to assist her in sitting down. She sits so gracefully. I tug her to my chest so that I can hold her close. She fits perfectly in my arms. I smile and notice she is smiling too. I ask her if this is the one, and again she says, I do not think so. The same thing that the second zone is just wrong.

I tell her to let us eat our lunch, and then we will head to the fourth area. We tease each other while we eat, and time seems to fly by so quickly. When we are done eating, I pack up everything and place the basket on the back of the ATV, and we head out to the next site. I have a good feeling about this next one.

Gracie POV.

We arrived at the fourth location, and it is closer than the first three but still far enough away to ensure privacy. The stream is perfect, and the trees cover the area with thick, full aerial coverage. And then I found myself enjoying the scent of pine needles from the pine trees and the blooming flowers on the bushes that all at once I feel this is home. I smile and turn to Alpha Lucky and say, this is it! 

{Lucky} Are you sure, Little Dove?

{Gracie} Yes, Daddy.

{Lucky} Grrr, I love hearing you call me Daddy.

{Gracie} Daddy, I think I am ready.

{Lucky} Little Dove, I need you to be one hundred percent sure your ready. I know you feel the Mate Bond, but if you are unsure of mating at all, we can and will wait.

{Gracie} I am sure, Daddy. I want you to show me pleasures I have never know, and I want to be your Mate in every way possible. I want us too strong and healthy in love as well as hearty.

{Lucky} Little Dove, it is so hard to tell you no, but I need you to be sure it is for the right reasons. This area will be our new home site regardless if we Mate or not right now. I will have the builders start tomorrow if you want me to.

{Gracie} Please, Daddy, I am not asking to get a home built. I am asking because this day with you solidified my feelings that have been building since we met. Please, Daddy!

{Lucky} Let me pack up our blanket again, and I will take you back to the Packhouse, and we can Mate there in the comfort of our bed.

{Gracie} Daddy, I want to Mate here where our home will be, Please Daddy, pretty Please!

{Lucky} Are you sure, Little Dove?

{Gracie} Yes, Daddy!!!

{Lucky} Alright Colomba, just know that once we mate in human form out here, our wolves will want to copulate in their wolf forms, as well.

{Gracie} Yes, Daddy, I have read up on all that this last week.

{Lucky} You have? Well, why did you not say anything to me about it? Hmm, Little Dove?

{Gracie} I wanted to surprise you, Daddy.
