Geoffrey walked through Vidal’s home, feeling quite excellent. His wooing of Julia had finally been consummated, and it had been very sweet. Now she lay sleeping in his bed, no longer a virgin, and thrilled beyond measure about it. She was embarrassed to be innocent at the great age of thirty-nine, he thought proudly, but no more. Now she’s a woman of experience, and I’ll give her some more experiences soon. Who would have guessed that I would find the passion to seduce a woman again? And more than that, I want to keep her. He needed to find Vidal, to ask him about her, about how a man courted a woman in Spain. I suppose s*x isn’t traditionally part of the equation, but that’s just too bad.
