CHAPTER 2 Early dawn sunlight filtered through the windows, accompanied by a cool, sweet waft of air. Vidal awakened to find himself holding a sleeping n***d woman in his arms. Carmen? No, Rosalind. For a moment, he wondered at her being there, and then all the events of the previous day came back in a rush. Finally, he recognized the great gift she had given him.
