  Epilogue Desiree A high-pitched screech of laughter comes out of Jasper’s room. I smile, and bite back my admonishment that bedtime is not the time for tickles. Junior’s in with my son—our son—reading him How Do Dinosaurs Say Goodnight which must’ve turned into a tickle-fest. My baby kicks and I rub my belly as I dig my spoon into the carton of Ben & Jerry’s Junior always keeps stocked for me. Only a few weeks to go until we can meet our baby—another boy. I think Junior was relieved not to have a girl—no comparing this one to his little lost angel. Although I’m sure he would’ve loved a girl with his whole heart, too. He’s been amazing with Jasper, who already seems as in love with him as I am. “All right, he’s ready for goodnight kisses from you,” Junior says, appearing in the door
