I excused myself from Cielle and rushed out of the house, but not without promising her that I was going to come back.
I got into my car and hit the road to Jason's house. Now that I was finally away from Cielle, I decided to call Stacey back. I intentionally refused to answer her calls in front of Cielle for obvious reasons.
She picked up at the second ring and was about to start yelling at me for snubbing her calls all morning but I immediately shut her off.
"What the hell is wrong with your Stacey?" I asked without letting her even start her statement. "Can you please stop blowing up my phone? It's getting annoying already." I said firmly.
"Why wouldn't I? When you have refused to answer my calls all this while." She chipped in.
