Nightmares Daphne’s POV I had a nightmare last night. One so vivid it clung to me like a second skin. I was lost in a forest, surrounded by tall, twisted trees that loomed like silent giants, their branches dancing in a wind I couldn’t feel. I called out for help, my voice echoing into the emptiness, but no one answered. The sun began to fade, swallowed by a creeping darkness, and the trees transformed, their twigs curling into bony, witches’ hands, reaching for me with sharpened claws. I tried to run, my heart pounding, but my legs were heavy as lead, sinking into the earth as if rooted in it.
