Chapter Ten
Before I could tell Jason all the haunting details of my ghostly encounter, he stopped me and said that if he and his crew were going to investigate the house, they wanted to come in cold. That means no information. If they knew what I'd experienced, that might colour their findings. They might look for things that weren't really there, just because of what I said.
It was hard not to tell him about my encounter with the Scarlet Woman and her abusive husband. Although, I guess I'd invented a few of those details. I don't really know that there are two ghosts and they were married to each other, but that's the sense I get: perfume and pipes.
Plus, I felt Scarlet in bed with me.
I know the blankets were pulled off of us.
It was a terrifying experience.
