His dear Senku-chan looked like he didn't understand...
"Ahh... I guess I'll have to show you then... Se-n-ku-cha-n." sighed Gen.
"Sho-?!"
He was interrupted by a sweet and a possibly long if not stopped kiss given by the obviously experienced mentalist in front of him... lol
Senku was taken by surprise so he quickly broke the kiss and backed away...
"Oh.. I was planning on making out longer... what a shame"
"WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?!" shouted Senku, blushing, while backing away even more and covering his lips with his hand.
"It's nothing more than a way to show my love for you though..?~ I told you I'd show you if you didn't believe me~" he laughed.
In a moment, the mood completely changed. Senku had calmed down a bit and so they started staring into each other's eyes and with that came a nod of agreement to talk this out.
They sat down enjoying the view, just like before, and this time, Gen wanted to properly deliver his message to his beloved scientist.
He started... "Listen, what I said before is true. I- I really do love you. I have been for a while now..." he said while blushing for the first time tonight.
"..."
"As I told you before... I have been rather fond of you from before even meeting you. And after I did meet you... well... these feelings started growing stronger and stronger every day, to the point where I can call this love... oh god this really is cringy"
"Ahah.." Senku chuckled.
"You're being so affectionate now... so you really do love me, uh... well... that's a problem I guess." he explained, frustrated.
"A problem..?" mumbled Gen disappointed.
"This is really not the moment for dating around, you know..? We will soon start our war with the Tsukasa Empire and there's no time to waste... although... to be honest... I wouldn't mind you being by my side" reassured Senku while blushing slightly.
"R-really?!!! Then please! Let me be the one by your side! You just said you wouldn't mind! We can even start after the war if you want!" babbled Gen excitingly.
"Ahh..." he sighed.
"Fine then... but I won't be able to wait until after the war... what if something happens? What if we los... ahah what am I even saying of course we will win..."
They both chuckled at his obvious statement.
"But wait... you "can't wait" until the end of the war?? W-what do you mean by that..?" Gen asked confused.
"Huh... isn't it obvious by now?"
