JUNE 19 - MONDAY
Home. I’m hommmmmeeeeee! I can’t believe it! I know I’ve only been away from home for two weeks but it’s felt like an eternity. At the same time, it flew by and only felt like I was gone for a few hours. Why is life like that? Why is time so strange? I feel strange. Dad picked me up at the airport. He made a funny sign with our last name and he was wearing a suit and dark glasses just like in the movies. He pretended he was my limo driver and I was a famous celebrity! It was so funny. When I first saw him I just ran up and started crying. I never knew I could miss him so much. Then when we got to the car mom and David and Hope were waiting there for me too. It was the best. We all went to Perky’s for milkshakes. Chocolate is my favorite. The kids are so much bigger. O
