It was December and Ama was decidedly nervous. There were almost thirty wolves in this eros pack, making it the biggest eros pack in North America. Except, of course, for Tilthos Charles’s pack, but she didn’t’ include that one because it included other magical creatures besides werewolves. It was called the Mutt Pack by many, and simply “the Blended Pack” with capital letters. This one, though…this one was dominated by female wolves and that made it even more unusual.
Ama curtsied to the alpha, Fehrna Susan. She was a short but well-made wolf in human guise. She might have been easy to overlook except for the gleam in her eyes.
