Lilian boarded the carriage prepared by Natalie's family.
This four-wheeled carriage looks clumsy, but because of its very sophisticated steering mechanism, it is actually quite agile.
Inside the carriage were two rows of seats facing each other, each seating three people, just like a green train. A small wooden board was nailed to the inner side to serve as a table, on which were placed some pretty and sweet snacks and juice in transparent glass bottles.
“It’s like a picnic,” Lilian said with a smile as she sat down opposite Natalie.
Natalie chuckled a few times, then proudly opened the cabinet on the side and top to show Lilian : "There are lots of delicious things here that are easy to preserve. I didn't know how many days we'd be away, so I prepared enough for ten days!"
