"Oh, quite the temper." Bobby laughed, then his face suddenly turned grim. "No matter how bad the temper, a good beating will make him behave." Lilian was disgusted, but unfortunately she had no weapon, even a stone would have been helpful. The door next to them creaked open, and Mark came out carrying a large blacksmith's hammer, glaring at Bobby: "Don't cause a drunken scene in front of someone's house so early in the morning!" He wielded the enormous hammer with ease, the heavy hammer looking as if it might fly out at any moment and strike someone. Bobby was also quite burly, but he was no match for the young and muscular Mark. Plus, he was drunk and could barely stand. He might be able to bully a young girl, but he had no chance against Mark.
