Ch 63

1149 Words

Lilian couldn't go home too late, so she had to finish her consolidation quickly, say goodbye to Dibian, and go home. When she got home, Adele and Evan were still awake, so she grabbed a handful of nuts and divided them in half. Their eyes lit up, and they happily started eating. They rarely had snacks, and this handful of nuts was something they might not eat even once a month. Lilian gave the rest to Guy, who was to distribute it. She bought these on the spur of the moment when she went to the tavern to buy food for Dibian. She had been saving the gold coins she had taken from Dibian but they were inconvenient to use, but the silver and copper coins that Parish gave her today came in handy. Of course, she told Guy that the nuts were unwanted from the kitchen, so she took them back.
