Chapter 3- New Beginning

1840 Words
Sophie We stared at each other. My eyes were wide, but his..his eyes darkened, intense. I gulped. Suddenly I became aware of our position. My thighs were straddling his lap, my hands were on his broad shoulders, and my boobs..god pressed against his mouth. His hands rested on my waist. I quickly moved away from on top of him, raising myself with bullet-train speed, and closed my eyes shut — d*mn, my boobs had literally pressed against his mouth. F*ck. My n****e hardened. His lips grazed my skin. I wanted to jump in the water in shame. He cleared his throat. My eyes jumped on him. He was also staring at me, his jaw tightened like he wanted to say something. Before he could say a single word, "Thank you, Mr. Alexander," I quickly blurted out and ran from the room. I put my hand on my heart, it was beating really fast. Outside his door, two guards stood on either side but didn't even spare me a glance. Good My cheeks were burning. I walked fast, keeping my head down. I shivered just from remembering that scene — the way his mouth had been right there, the warmth of his breath, this was officially the most embarrassing moment of my entire life. Nothing would ever top this. Nothing. Sh*t. I forgot about my driver. I dug into my bag for my phone, but before I could even unlock it, someone stepped toward me. My eyebrows knitted together. "Hello, miss. Mr. Fox told me to take you home," the man said. He was well-dressed, professional, clearly a personal driver. "You mean Mr. Alexander Fox?" He nodded. Fox. I had definitely heard that name before, but where? I couldn't remember it. "It's okay, really. I'm perfectly fine — I'm calling my own driver." I waved a hand dismissively. But the driver shook his head firmly. "Sorry, madam. Mr. Fox strictly instructed that it was my responsibility to get you home safely." The man looked desperate, almost nervous, like failing this task would cost him something serious, would Alexander punish him if he didn't follow his order, but he doesn't look like that cruel boss. So I finally gave in, nodded, and slid into the backseat of the sleek car, giving him my address. I was just staring outside, remembering last night's incident. Despite being a complete stranger, Alexander had helped me. I shook my head, trying hard not to think about him, but he wasn't the kind of person you met briefly and then casually forgot about. He had a presence, a thick and overwhelming aura that filled whatever room he stood in. The kind that lingered long after he was gone. In fact, when he had been standing right in front of me, I had completely forgotten about James. But the second I remembered James now, the familiar ache hit me square in the chest. I never wanted to face that b*st*rd again. I needed to contact my lawyer soon, get the divorce papers drafted and ready to sign. I wanted to free myself as soon as possible. "Madam, your home," the driver's calm voice pulled me back to the real world. I thanked him and stepped out, walking toward my apartment building. I had bought this place when I was only twenty-one. At nineteen, I had built a unique software that earned me a big opportunity to work in Johnshan and Peter Group — one of the most powerful firms in the country. The projects had poured in after that and I had never looked back. Thank God this door opened with a code, otherwise I would have been forced to my body go back to James's house for the keys. I still had to go back eventually, my important things were still sitting there. But I would send someone. I refused to step foot in that house myself ever again. Where my life has been shattered. When I walked inside, a heavy longing settled over me like a weight. Now I was going to live here alone again. Two years with James.. two years of building something I thought was real — and now this empty, quiet apartment. God d*mn, Stop it, Sophie. Before him you lived alone and you were just fine. I ordered the essentials online and called my parents to check in carefully. I didn't tell them about my heartbreak episode because they would spiral with worry. I cleaned every corner of the apartment, and organized the things I'd quickly delivered. The place had sat untouched for two years and it showed. By nighttime I was completely and utterly drained. I fell onto my bed, closed my eyes. So, Sophie, this was a new beginning. I was done being the naive, soft, too-trusting Sophie. I was going to enjoy my life, every single moment of it, on my own terms. I promised myself and made new resolutions. From tomorrow, I will be a new version of Sophie. finally let sleep pull me under. ********************* "Ohhh— " The moan tore out of me loud and shameless. My whole body was soaked in sweat. The sound of slapping skin echoed around me and the thick, heavy smell of s*x hung in the air like a cloud. The bed was bouncing. God. I am about to c*m. "f**k—" the man growled from behind me, deep and rough. "f**k, Sophie, you are so damn sexy. I am going to breed you." His voice was laced with thick desire, his strong, rough hands tightly grasped my ass. "Yes..yes.. please—" The word came out of my lips naturally. "Want to c*m, Sophie baby." The man behind me asked harshly. I nodded desperately. "Then beg me, baby" he said. His voice dropped to something cold, commanding, he was dominating me, and I let him. And he f****d me even harder. Faster. Like he wanted to ruin me completely. "Please.. please f**k me hard — please.." My whole body was bouncing, completely out of my control. I screamed and came apart with a loud mourn, and he followed right behind me, a deep, guttural groan ripping from his chest as I milked every single drop from him, trembling and squeezing around him. The man slapped my ass, and c*m inside me. "Ahh — Alexander—" My eyes flew open. I shot upright and slammed the bedside lamp on with a shaking hand. I looked around wildly, I was alone. Just my bedroom. Just darkness and silence around me. That was a dream. Yes, that was a dream. My entire body was soaked through with sweat and I was wet down there, embarrassingly so. My heart was pounding so hard I could feel it in my throat. I grabbed my own hair and pulled them. What the hell, what kind of dream was that, filthy and vivid and so brutally real, like it really happened and why was it Alexander? Why was it his face, his voice, his hands? Just thinking about it again — the way he had taken me in that dream, hard and relentless and completely without mercy, made my core throb. A tight, restless, aching sensation coiled low in my stomach and refused to leave. I had been moaning and begging like a desperate, dirty, shameless girl and I had loved every single second of it. My face went hot. No. Absolutely not. This is just a dream. I have not had s*x in weeks and my body is reacting, that is all. That is the only explanation. This means nothing. This is not going to happen. But what if it actually did happ— No. No.I met him once. That is it. Nothing else. End of story. I will probably never meet him again, just to think about this I felt a pang of disappointment. I laid back down and stared at the ceiling, willing my body to calm down and my brain to go quiet. But the dream kept crawling back in my head shameless and uninvited and annoyingly vivid. I genuinely don't know when I finally fell asleep again. Morning came and the dream was still right there, sitting at the very front of my mind like it had paid rent. God. Stop it Sophie, that is how you would start your new life, to keep a dirty dream in my head. I shaked my head to clear out any stupid thoughts. I got ready, pushed it down as hard as I could, and headed to the office. I had taken a few days off to fall apart in private, but now it was time to function like a normal person again. I had barely settled into my cabin when the knock came, can't I take a breath. "Yes?" "Ma'am, the boss is calling you." I exhaled slowly, took the elevator up to the fifth floor, knocked on the door, waited for permission, then pushed the door open and stepped inside my boss’ office. "You called me, Nick?" My boss had his head buried in a thick file. He looked up slowly. Nickolas Johnshan. CEO of this company. He is in his late forties. Sharp eyes that missed absolutely nothing. This man had given me a genuine chance at this company when every single investor was against his decision, they thought I was just a little girl who didn't deserve to work in this company. Because he believed in me before I had fully believed in myself, I had been able to prove what I was worth. I would carry that debt for the rest of my career and my life. He studied me quietly for a long moment. "What happened to you?" he asked. I shrugged, keeping my face completely neutral. "Nothing. What do you mean?" "You look different. Something is bothering you." He leaned back slightly. "You rarely take leaves." I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms. "Nick. I am a human being. Can I not get sick and rest? I had a high fever." I delivered it with complete, effortless confidence. He watched me a few seconds longer, then gave a slow, reluctant nod. He walked me through the new project after that, their biggest one yet. More investors were needed. He was considering selling a portion of his shares and bringing in a new partner to take the company forward, his ideas always brilliant no doubt about that. I went back to my cabin and drowned myself in pending work until the office emptied out around me. By the time I finally reached my home, I was running on nothing. Tired as hell, that is why I hate to take leaves. I walked toward my door, already thinking about my bed and sleep. But I stopped. My eyes went wide. There he was standing in front of my apartment door, like he owned this place. Casually. Comfortably. Like he had all rights to be here. I thought I would never see him again. "You—”
