30. SELENICEREUS GRANDIFLORUSAs the sun sets in the distant horizon,
The sunlight gives way to a magical darkness,
The moon takes its rightful place among the stars,
It’s a glorious full moon.
She steps out of my dream and takes form before my disbelieving eyes.
It’s a rare occasion,
One night, every year,
She appears,
Standing right in front of me,
A woman dressed in an elegant, white gown.
The majestic moon climbs the empty expanse,
Taking its place in the dark, night sky,
Among the shining stars and high above the clouds.
With cherry blossoms adorning the overhead branches of the trees,
The night is romantic,
An annual celebration.
Just when the night is at its darkest,
She stands before me,
Her face draped in a veil and her fair shoulders exposed by the silvery moonli
