Safe, for now

I open my eyes to the sound of sirens approaching the door. I reach up trying to ignore the pain from the recent burns. Though as I reach to to touch my knee I let out a little wince, my kneecap feels dislocated, I must have damaged it by running. I know that I need to find help. The monster must have left because otherwise there wouldn't be firefighters. I unlock the padlock and slip it off. I push against the doors, my fingers slipping into the beautiful carvings. I step out into the light and chaos of the world that surrounds me. I can hear the trees screaming as they continue to burst into flames. Even with the firefighters straining to put out the blaze, nature continues to help as it is engulfed. "Excuse me sir!" I approach one of the many fighters. "Do you know where I might find a doctor?" I ask pleasingly. "There are no real proffetionals around here" he replied. "Well all except Damon over there" he says, pointing at a muscular figure that stands next to a firefighter who looks to have burnt himself. I watch the mans muscles flex as he reaches for a cleansing appliance. A few tattoos blanket his left arm. His jet black hair is neatly trimmed but still it gives off a tough guy effect. His piercing blue eyes concentrate on the task before him, an intense look in his eyes. Once he has finished patching up the patients wounds, he turns to face me with an amused look in his eyes. "Can I help you?" He asks, obviously he had become aware of my taking him in. I suck in a breath as i force myself to look away from his gorgeous figure. "Yes actually" I begin as I explain my situation to him.
