"Is everything alright?" Simon asked me as I gasped out loudly just as we stepped out of his office.
"Yes. No. I mean, yes. I am fine," I told him. I internally scolded myself that I shouldn't have given Ethan my username. I pray he doesn't reveal the truth to Joseph before I get the chance to do so myself.
"That's fine. You scared me like you forgot something. Are you sure you didn't forget anything in the office?" Simon asked as we marched up to the elevator.
"No, I didn't," I offered him a bright smile and walked with him to the elevator.
Mrs. Anita stepped out of her office, which was adjacent to the boss's office, and looked at us.
"When did you two get along just after two days in the office? You should be careful, Amaka. Simon only wants to get into your pants,"
