Amaka's POV.
"My goodness! What happened Amaka? Where are you coming from?" Simon asked. I was sure that my face was a total mess. But I didn't want to tell him just yet.
"I am sick for today. So I have to go home," I said, making a mental note to go and pick up Jason since I am leaving for work early.
"Oh my goodness. But you just left here now in good shape and looks. How come you're looking so red? Are you sure that you're fine?" Simon asked again, and I gave a nod and replied, "Yes. I am fine. I will be back tomorrow."
I knew I wasn't going to come back here again, as I cannot stand Joseph. His pretense and lies.
