I looked at Bella, the irritation in me climbing to a crescendo. What irritated me was the constant usage of Marcus Turner's name, the way she seemed to focus the cheating incident completely on him.
"Keep Marcus's name out of your mouth, please. You were the one after him, not the other way round. You're my best friend, Bella. We've come a long way, and you know I love Marcus. Why have s*x with him, then?"
Bella's face was a mask of annoyance. I didn't care, when it came to Marcus Turner, I was ready to go to war because of him, I was ready to go to the depths of the ocean because of him.
"Ask Marcus Turner what transpired between the both of us, ask your boyfriend who started making moves, Kayla."
