  Kayla's POV   Opening the door to the house I shared with Marcus, I breathed in, my head hurting. My world seemed to be crumbling, it was one of those rare times when things happened but wasn't explainable. How was what had happened to me in the past few days explainable?   From my boyfriend cheating on me with my best friend to my own close friend telling me that she had known about it all this while. I was hurt, and I wondered if there was any going forward from this.   Was there any hope for our relationship?   Trying to take my mind off my present situation, I undressed, deciding to prepare dinner for Marcus. It was the easiest way to confront him. Make him feel at ease, then strike.
