Heiress 4: Their Other Side

Lavalee’s POV

“Girls.” I called their attention

“On it.” Jess said and we all went to the basement of the mansion.

We’ve expected this already. Being the heiresses of  rich families, we already expected that they might go overboard in protecting us.

“The lights are off, Lav.” Chelsea said while facing one of the computers.

“Our signature clothes are ready.” Jess said

We went to our respective elevators and changed. Of course, we turned off the cameras using our DNAs.

We arrived at the underground parking lot and rode our cars

We got out of the subdivision through the underground tunnel then exited at the side of the guard house. We dropped by our hideout to change cars then we drove to the underground arena.

We arrived at the underground arena at exactly 11PM.

Third Person’s POV

(A/N: Pambasag lang.)

Location: Underground Arena

Current Time: 11PM

*sound of footsteps

Everyone was holding their breaths while four people emitting scary auras are walking in the silent room.

The noisy arena have fell silent.

Only the sound of their wedges is the only thing you’ll hear.

“We’ll fight.” Eris said with a cold voice

“W-who w-will y-you fight?” the emcee asked trembling

“Your highest rank.” Harmony said with her cold voice full of authority

“Venomous Angels g**g Versus the Unknown Gang.” The emcee said.

Eris and Calliope stepped forward when all the members of Venomous Angels g**g stepped forward.

“You’re underestimating us, huh?” Ivy, the leader of Venomous Angels g**g, said

“What can two weaklings like you do against the ten of us?” Lily proudly said

‘Weaklings? Wrong word dear.’ Harmony thought while staring at Eris and Calliope

This is the reason why Calliope and Eris are always the first one to fight. Commonly the highest rank of a country would taunt them.

When the bell rang the fight started.

Eris and Calliope were both surrounded by 10 members of the Venomous Angels.

“Where’s your courage now? Weak.” Ivy taunted Eris

Eris and Calliope were studying their moves that’s how they fight.

*BLAG

Without anyone noticing Eris managed to kick all of their feet and they stumbled down.

Eris pulled their feet and started to turn while holding their feet. Like a top she turned, while Ivy was regaining her consciousness Eris let go of the members she was holding. The members hit Ivy and caused her to lose consciousness.

--MEANWHILE—

Calliope was enjoying the fight.

She hadn’t fought for a while and this makes her thrilled up again.

She started to get bored and immediately she ended the fight.

They both stood up on stage and took the microphone.

“Eris, fourth rank.” Eris said and wore her black and maroon jacket with ‘Eris’ embroidered on it

“Calliope, Third rank.” Calliope said and did the same thing

Everyone cannot believe their eyes and what they are hearing.

‘They are just the third and fourth rank?’ they thought

“W-what’s y-your g**g name?” The emcee asked despite the nervousness

“Muse.” Harmony’s cold voice boomed

Everyone gasped.

Muse g**g. The first rank in the overall ranking. Almost hailed as goddesses.

They wear identical black wedges, black crop top, black leggings and black masks with their jackets tied on their waists. The embroidery isn’t visible because it is always rolled up.

They went out and rode their cars.

When they arrived at their hideout they changed cars and clothes. They brought their signature clothes with them on their back seat.

Chelsea’s POV

We followed Lavalee to a beach

“Lavalee, it’s already 12AM.” I reminded her

“I know. I’m just checking something.” She said and went to a tree.

“Lavalee, what are you doing?” Jess asked her

“They’ve been here.” Lavalee said while touching the bark.

“Who?” Irene asked

“Never mind.” She said and walked back to her car

What’s up with her?

She’s acting weird ever since we came here to the Seryphil.

We went back to our cars and drove to the mansion.

When I went to my room, I peeked at the window and I saw them. They’re still there.

I went to Lavalee’s room and knocked on her door

“Yes?” she asked

“Lavaleee, how about we invite them in? Look, we aren’t going out again.” I said

“It’s already 1 in the morning, Chels.” She said

“Exactly. They are still outside, guarding us.” I told her

“Go invite them in.” She said

“Lavalee, this is your house.” I reminded her

“Fine.” She said and went out of her room

While we were walking down the stairs only the sound of our footsteps can be heard.

“Chels..” Lavalee called me

“Hmm?” I asked

“What if we just invite them to live here? Somehow that would ease their suspicions about us.” She said

“Let them live here?” I asked her

“Never mind. The more I thought of it the more it gives me weird feelings.” She said

Lavalee’s POV

Last week, we invited them to stay here.

“Dammit!” Jess cursed the moment she went out of her room

“What happened to you?” Chelsea asked her

“Some jerk told my cousin that I’m here. DAMMIT!” She cursed out loud

Well our BODY GUARDS aren’t here yet.

They left earlier to get their clothes and only one of them is left.

The handsome gay. Jace Scott.

“Only one guy loves to pester you.” Irene told her

“I’ll punch that assh*le’s face when I see him.” She swore

“Can you?” I teased her

“DAMN! If only. Argh!” she said and stomped her feet and went to the training room

“Poor Bryle.” We said in chorus

Bryle loves to pester Jess and the latter is so short tempered when it comes to him.

*RING *RING

“Hello?” I asked not minding to see the caller ID

“Seryphil, huh?” he asked

I held my breath. s**t.

I didn’t tell him. Damn.

“Sorry, I forgot to tell you.” I said apologetically

“Yappa. Tadashi, nanishiteruno, Hime?” he asked with authority in his cold tone

(As expected. However, what are you doing, Princess?)

Oh well. As if I could hide anything from him. Only Freia can do that, if she wants to.

“I’m here at home. Preparing for school.” I said

“You promised Hime Freia that she can visit.” He said

That’s how he found out. Freia must’ve asked his permission as he is the eldest.

“Hai. I did. Are you mad?” I asked

“Bango. I’m allowing her but only when she’s 14.” He said

“Sore ni tsuite tashikadesu ka?” I asked surprised

(Are you sure about that?)

“Hai. It’s time she gets out anyway.” He said

“Lavalee we have to go.” Jace said and that’s when I noticed that they already left

Only Jace and I were left.

“Who’s that?” Onii-sama asked

“Assigned to guard me. I have to go. See you.”  I said

“Oke. Johimaeyo, hime.” He said

(Okay. Take care, Princess.)

“Bye. Aishiteru.” I said and he hanged up

I went out with Jace and we went to school

“What took you so long?” Chelsea asked

“Frost called.” I answered

“He found out?” Ire asked

“Duh. As if Lavalee can hide anything from Frost.” Jess said and we went to our classroom

You can’t expect this school to be normal looking. This is a school for people in the underground society. An Academy built for Gangsters, Mafia and Yakuza Heirs, Assassins, and such.

“Hey! I was able to.” I defended

“Really? Or Frost just allowed you too?” Irene teased making me frown

“I did. 4 years ago when he isn’t handling anything yet.” I said

“At nung itinakas niyo yung lima.” Chelsea added

“See? I can.” I said and they chuckled

Our teacher arrived and started distributing some waiver.

“Kailangan niyo yan papirmahan sa parents niyo, not digital signature but signature on this paper, not printed.” The teacher said

I raised my hand and she called me.

“What if hindi po pwede? Like nasa States ang parents? What will we do?” I asked, it’s not for me, it’s for my friends because they’re already having problem about it.

I sat down and Chelseaa looked at me worried. Worried that I am hurt again.

I smiled and nodded at the three of them to show that I am alright.

It’s been almost 5 years narin naman eh.

“Then we have to contact them and make sure that all of you are allowed in case you want to join. We can rely to your guardians dahil posibleng matakot lang sila sa inyo. I know that majority of you are gangsters kaya dapat alam ng parents niyo so that the school woun’t be liable to whatever happens to you.” Sabi niya

Oh well. I guess not every school is the same.

Kung sabagay, this isn’t a normal school. This a school for underground students.

Back then kapag kailangan namin ng mga ganito we can just get it through digital signature, eomma and appa have their signatures ready to be digitally presented for education purposes all we have to do is put the encryption code that only the five of us can access and every month it will be automatically erased at any device that is not registered to the family system.

“Kahit kapatid po?” Chelsea asked while raising her hand

“Nope. We can’t risk the credibility of this school. Call us untrusting to our dear students but because of your backgrounds hindi namin mapapayagan.” The teacher said

Jess was about to stand up but I signaled her to stop. I shook my head and I pointed at the logo in our uniforms and she understood.

‘Mianhe, Eomma, Appa. I might disobey your reminder.’ I thought and sighed.

I stared at the waiver at my hands and sighed. Because of a simple waiver I might disobey one of Eomma and Appa’s reminders.

She pasted three cartolina on the board. She told us to copy it because we will have a long quiz tomorrow.

She went out with her cartolina next would be our Science class.

I don’t know which branch though because our schedules only indicates the room and class.

That’s what she wrote on the board and faced us.

What? I thought it is Science?

“Any ideas how it is connected to our class?” she asked and Chelsea raised her hand

Looks like Chelsea knows what it is.

She called Chelsea and Irene and Jess shook their heads.

Here goes fascination.

“It is said that Mathematics is the gate and key of the Science. According to the famous Philosopher Kant, “A Science is exact only in so far as it employs Mathematics” Mathematics is a universal tool, it answers many things that may require computation, comprehension, analysis, and logical and reasoning. Mathematics is intimately connected with everyday life and necessary to successful conduct of affairs. It is an instrument of education found to be in conformity with the needs of human mind. Mathematics helps the child in developing analytical and reasoning skills with logical and structured thoughts, thus connecting it to Science.” She said and fixed her eyeglasses.

“Very good.” The teacher said and started teaching the connections.

Such as the deductive reasoning, inductive reasoning, Law of Detachment, Law of Syllogism.

We stood up and carried our bags and went to the Gym. We went to our lockers and placed our bags then changed into a pair of white shirt with the academy’s logo and red jogging pants.

“Welcome to Self Defense Class.” Our instructor said once all of us are seated.

“I would like to see what you guys know how much you’ve learn this past weeks. We’ll have a pairing, boys and girls may get paired up with one another, no excuses. As for the transfers you are not excused but you will be paired up with your fellow transfer.” He said and started pairing us up.

“Who isn’t called?” our instructor asked so I raised my hand.

Mukhang nakahinga ng maluwag ang tatlo nang makita nilang nagtaas ako ng kamay.

“Sorry, I’’m late.” Jace said pagdating niya kaya napailing yung tatlo

“Okay, Kan and Santiago you’re partners.” The instructor said and made us stand up

We are given two minutes to be on both sides, 2 minutes on defense and two minutes on offense.

There are only 30 students here so only 15 pairs and two pairs at a time.

Nanonood lang kami ni Chelsea while Jess and Irene are pointing out the wrong posture, mistakes and such.

They agreed at that because they love seeing other people’s mistakes so that they can correct it. They even started pointing out their bodyguards’ mistakes then enumerating what could happen.

Nasaway tuloy sila. Too noisy kasi.

“Han against Jang and Go against Delta.” I smirked when I saw that Irene is on offense while Chelsea and Jess are on defense.

Muntik nang maibalibag ni Irene si Jess while Chelsea can completely dodge every attack Delta Ethan is throwing at her.

“Change. Han and Go on offense, Jang and Delta on defense.” The instructor said

Jess held Irene’s hair and pulled her while turning at the same time as Irene is turning.

I don’t think one of them will even win against each other. Though, Jess is better at silent attacks since Irene is a bit noisy since she really loves dwelling with many opponents at the same time.
