Chapter 7As they said goodbye to Lexie, Darlene turned to me.
“We need to talk,” she said.
We both sat back down in Darlene’s living room.
“About?”
“Well, let’s get the business part squared away first. You want me to manage your contributions and investments. That I said I would do, but we never discussed what you were going to pay me. Do you want me to bill you like I do my other clients, or would you like to put me on a retainer? You pay me the same each month, and I’ll handle everything as it comes up?”
