Chapter Nine
Sergei returned ten minutes later, his damp hair testament to his quick shower and change. Dimitri bit out that he was going to get a shower in the guest room next door. His dark glare was the only warning he gave Sergei that the same ‘off-limits’ was applied while he cooled off his own blood. Sergei felt for his friend as he watched him gather up a change of clothes and disappear through a connecting door into the room next door.
Sergei hadn’t even bothered with dressing when he returned to his rooms, deciding his silk boxers covered enough should he run across any of the servants. He had been in almost agony the few hours that he had tried to sleep. He and Dimitri had both worn their boxers to bed, thinking it would be interesting to see what Rune would do when she awoke.
