“Now, you and I are going into the house and getting that little baby out of there," the man said in an aggressive tone. “Get into the car now," he commanded Manuel further.
Manuel's mind was racing. How could he stop this? He thought. “This should really not be happening. You are making a big mistake," Manuel said as he got into the other side of the car.
“Just keep your mouth shut and we will drive in and get that precious little baby," the stranger continued.
When they entered the front door, Manuel spotted Ruby having a nap in an armchair. “Quiet," the man whispered in Manuel's ear. He was holding the gun at Manuel's back.
Manuel walked up the hallway and he realised that Ruby was alone with the baby that day, so this meant that this person has been watching the house all along.
