I didn’t talk to him for three days. He sent flowers and notes. Called my phone and sent me lots of messages on every app I have. Then he called my mom one morning.
“Natalie, are you already awake?”
“Yes, mom.”
“Can we talk?”
“Sure mom.”
“Gabriel called me. He has been calling me for the whole day yesterday and asking about you. Have you eaten? Are you okay? And so many more. What happened?”
“We had a misunderstanding, that’s all.”
