Christian Something felt off. It wasn't just the reality that I was being held captive, but there was a kind of disturbance in my heart. I felt too weak to do anything except think of how to get out of here. The Alpha said something that made me believe I didn't have too much time left. My thoughts were racing and I just wanted to get back to my mate. She had to be worried. I was hoping she didn't blame herself for not saving me.
