Sarah’s POV:
“I do not understand, though. I did not make these payments.” I say into the phone to the bank. This morning I got notifications from the school and the housing bond that my payments were now fully up to date with some months paid in advance. Imagine my surprise considering I was behind in both of these AND never made the payments. The person on the other end replies with the same remarks.
“Yes, mam, we understand your confusion, but a confidential beneficiary handled the payments and all have been cleared.”
I huff as they say these words to me again. No matter how many times they explain it, it doesn’t make me feel better. What i***t would pay my outstanding finances? Perhaps my father got hold of my financial situation, but how?
