The next day we all got up simi early, it was maybe 9 when we got around to making food. Cathy was a little upset that she had no service to talk to Jackson. But Maggie and I blew her off, she would be ok. We we’re cooking our biscuits and bacon when a group of guys in basketball shorts came up the trial. They were all horse playing and joking before they even noticed they were walking into our camp. Four very good lookin guys, body like football athletes, and looks like movie stars. The one who was walking a head of them looked like the leader, had longer black basketball shorts that matched his skater boy black messy hair and yellowish eyes that were so familiar, they were captivating. Two of the boys who looked like twins, they had features that matched, with brown hair the only difference was one had longer hair, while the other had a short cut that made his frame of face more visible. But they both had intriguing light grey eyes, they were wearing dark green shorts that looked longer on them that they should, they were short boys. The last one who was a tall and bright blond boy that had a clean cut with a starting of a mustache growing on his lip, and had green eyes like emeralds with some navel blue shorts.

They all hadn’t realized they reached the camp until the black haired god stopped startled of us being near the trail. The twins then turned to look at us sitting around the fire. While the blond one didn’t notice everyone stopped until he bumped into the twins. We just had a staring contest at these God looking men who have stumbled into camp. The black haired one scanned over eveyone until he seen me and his amazing eyes never left. Suddenly he lifts his head up and sniffs the air. Maggie takes her eyes off the boys to look at me confused? I glance at her and shrug and go back to looking at the group of guys. The twins were both looking at the black haired leader and it looked like their eyes had glazed over??? The blond was in the back he stepped up and slapped the twins and shook his head. I wonder what that was for? I finally stand up

Me: “hello! Um what brings y’all up here this early?”

Black hair: “Oh. Um. Hello, We we’re just taking a hike this morning.”

Blond: “ What are you guyed doing up here?we’re you guys here last night?”

Cathy: “no, we set all this up this morning.”

*sarcasm*

Maggie: *slaps Cathys arm*

“you don’t have to be rude!!”

Black hair: “sorry to intrude this is just one of our favorite spots to go. Um were locals.”

Maggie: “that’s cool! Do you guys have any tips for our week here?”

*Cathy whispers to Maggie*

“what if they are murders!! Don’t ask for anything send them on their way!!”

The twins laugh as I think they heard what she said. The black haired one smirks and the blond stifles a laugh. I look confused at them, how could they hear her speak so soft?

Blond hair: “ we’re not here to ruin your camping, or hurt anyone. We just stumbled on to your place.”

Me: “I get it they are slightly paranoid. I’m Kimberly by the way. And these are my friends Maggie and Cathy.”

Cathy: “hi!”

Maggie:”hello.”

Black hair: nice to meet y’all, I’m Elliot. The nuckle heads are Tom and jerry, while the tall brood in the back is Caleb.

Tom and Jerry: “hi!” “Hello”

Caleb: “hello ladies”

I got wrapped up in Elliot’s eyes and voice I heard what he was saying but I had no real reaction to it. All I could think about was there is something so familiar about him, but I had never seen him before. Heck I had never been to Colorado before!

Everyone started talking while i sat staring at Elliot. Maggie finally pulled me out of my daze when she walked over and shook me. When she did Elliot glaird at her and his face changed and it almost looked like he was growling at her??

Me:”why don’t you come have some breakfast with us?”

Tom:”that sounds awesome! I’m starving”

Jerry:”I smell bacon!”

Caleb: “that’s nice of you. But we don’t want to intrude.”

Maggie:”well Kimmy invited you so come sit”

Elliot just started walking over towards me and when I got within arms lengthen he stopped and sniffed the air again. I got worried I thought I stunk of something for a minute, then he said words that I will never forget. “Mate”

Cathy was closest to me and she stood there in shock. We had just met them, why would he say something like that? Cathy tried to discretely pull me away when I turned and looked at her she had fear in her eyes. I was confused, what had happened so fast for her to be scared. Caleb walked up and as he got closer his smile slipped away when he sniffed the air and whispered something else. “Rouge” they all got in a defensive stance and Elliot grabbed me just to push me behind him. It shook me cause of the sparks I felt where he touched me. Like lightning up in the dark skies.

Me: “What the hell?!? Are you growling at my friend?!?!”

Cathy: “Kimmy slowly come here please. They won’t hurt you but I don’t feel comfortable.”

Maggie come between Cathy and everyone else.

Maggie: "Kim do you have our necklace on?"

Instinctivly I reached for my neck to find the little star necklace I never took off dangaling.

Kim: "Yes? Why."

Maggie took a breath to speak when one of the twins ran at her. I went to move to help her but fearing for my freind when all of within a blink of an eye they were gone! I was so shocked. I sat there rubbing my eyes thinking I was seeing things. The twin feel on the ground where he lunged at her. He came up rubbing his head.

Caleb: “Why couldn’t we smell that she was a witch??”

Jerry: “ she was covering her sent with something else, my question is how did we miss the rouge??”

Tom: “why did she take the rouge, thats the important question”

Caleb: “at least our Luna is safe.”

I stop rubbing my eyes thinking I was dreaming and turn to them. They all turn their eyes on me as if I have all the answers.

Kim: "What the h*ll just happened! where did my friends go? who is Luna??"

Elliot:” you really have no clue what you are do you?”

I was dumbfounded, what did he mean what I am??? I’m Kimberly An. I’m from a little map dot in Missouri that no one knows.

Kim:”what do you mean what I am!? I’m just a girl from Missouri who now has been left by her sisters with a bunch of strange men!”

Elliot comes up and slowly goes to holding my hand. I pull away to shocked from the situation going on, I did not want to touch him. Elliot looks at the boys and as if they read his mind they turn and walk to sit down around the fire to take care of the food still on. I stood there half mad, half scared and all the way confused but I wasnt going to show it. Distracted with so many thoughts I finally look back at the beautiful man in front of me who’s eyes were now trying to read me.
