Meeting the Pack - Dinner Time

Once we get down the stairs and he leads me to the dinning room, I stopped in my tracks. It was HUGE!!! You could have fit a thousands of people in the one room. Which was filled up with picnic tables, long cafateria tables, and some cafe two seater tables, most the way with the pack members. Elliot led me to our seats. He stoped and whispered in my ear.

Elliot: “You are going to be loved by all.”

I blushed and bowed my head. Elliot smiled at me and started to sit down. I went to sit next to him when he took the hand I was holding and swoops me around and I land on his lap. I got embarrassed and tried to stand when he lets out a small growl.

Elliot: “Luna you are sitting here. Until we decide when to move forward and mark one another, I’m not letting any male be close to. You’re mine.”

Older gentleman: “Elliot son you left your scent all over her. There is no mistakes to be made. Don’t make her uncomfortable.”

Elliot turns around and grins at the man’s remark.

Elliot: “Father your advice is valued but in this case I’m doing it my way. Thank you”

Older gentleman: “At least introduced her to us before the pack, your mother is in line and she has been excited for days.”

Elliot: “Kimmberly this is my father Alpha Robert. My mother Luna Connie is coming this way as we speak.”

Kim: “It’s nice to meet you Alpha Robert. I’m Kimberly Ann.”

I reached to shake his hand and he was a little shocked, but took it. When he felt my grip his eyes got wide, like he was expecting a danty shake. Once he pulled away his eyes glazed over and I could tell he was linking with someone. That’s when Luna Connie came over, almost running into me with excitement.

Connie: “Hello dear! My my how beautiful are you! I am so happy you are here. We have been waiting on pins and needles waiting to be introduced. Sometimes I think my son has forgotten his manners, keeping you locked up all day."

Kim: “Hello Luna Connie. Nice to meet you as well, but the room was my idea. Just adjusting from travel and this overloading information.”

Connie:" You don’t need to call me Luna, just call me Connie or mom is fine!! Yes the travel from what was it Missouri? My my, crazy how the Goddess blesses us isnt it?”

Me: "Oh you have no idea."

I slight smile took my face. It had been some time sense I had called anyone mom. Made me feel special that she offered but at the same time I don’t know if I could. I nod, that’s when Elliot starts rubbing circles on my hand he still was holding and it had a small warmth spreading through me.

Kim: “I appreciate that thank you, for welcoming me like you have.”

Robert smiles

Robert: “oh Darlin that’s all my sons doing. He is a gracious Alpha. It has been sometime sense we had such a amazing surprise.”

Some ladies walked over with trays of food and set them down in-front of Elliot and I.

Omegas: “Alpha, Luna.”

They bear their necks and walk away.

I was a little caught off guard by it but I just nod and smile,

Kim: “Thank you ladies”

As they walk away. And one lady turns around a little surprised at my comment. And continues walking.

I start to look for Maggie and Cathy.

Connie: “Is something wrong dear?”

Kim: “My friends I came with I was just trying to see them. Make sure they are ok,”

That’s when I feel Elliot get close to my ear and kisses my neck slightly. It makes me jump a tad. But I try not to show it.

Elliot: “They are coming my Luna. They will sit next to us they are your pack after all.”

That made me smile and happy that we all were so welcome. After talking with the Moon Goddess and understanding more about a packs working. Elliot has been more than accommodating to us on his territory. Selene really has helped in such a shor lesson, I feel like I can better be prepared fro what comes next. Plus being able to have Sioux as a guide in some of this, she now was on a mission and has been taking in as much information we can see about this pack.

Maggie was the first to come sit down, she had a plate and some juice. When she sat down she greeted everyone with a bowof her head first. Maggie proceded to greeted Alpha Robert and Luna Connie with much respect. Then turned to Elliot and greeted him with a warm smile and a small twinkle in her eye. She never quite warmed up to Drew like this she told me she would support me but he was not who was meant for me. She was right all along.

Knowing we are fated by the Goddess now makes more confident being around Elliot.

Then we spotted Cathy coming along, with two plates! That girl was crazy thinking her tiny body could finish everything. Before she could dig in I sat up straight

Kim: “Cathy I need you to do something for me, can you stand please.”

She did with No hesitation but a confused look.

Kim: “I would like to introduced Cathy Pine my Beta”

Cathy was in shock, but recovered quickly with a huge smile. Maggie just sat mouth open until she jumped up and hugged Cathy in excitment.

I looked at Maggie and she knew what was coming she stood and bowed

Kim: “Id like to introduce my Gamma. Maggie a White Witch council holder.”

Once they were over the excitement of jumping and screaming like school girls we sat and ate.

Selene had told me that being a lone Alpha female was rough, I didn’t know it but my friends were my pack all along. I wanted to represent that to everyone here. Being Maggie is a witch of sorts and not a wolf she could hold a role in hierarchy, just not Beta.

While knowing Maggie would be a great Beta she will keep Cathy and I in line. They both are my pack, my sisters. There’s no other way this could go.

After we eat and mingle with the table, Elliot nudged me to stand. I did as he stood also he faced me.

Elliot: “This is going to be painless just nerve wrecking. But don’t worry you don’t have to speak unless you want to.”

I was not sure what he had planed or what was coming but I could trust my mate Selene ensured me of that. He led me what seems to be the front of the dining hall. There was a small elevated platform in the corner and he grabbed my hand to lead us to stand on it. No one noticed him until he cleared his throught, hard to notice a big man on stilts if you ask me. It took no time for the room to get quiet.

Elliot: “Good Evening Blue Sky Mountain Pack. After some time I’d like to put some rumors to rest. Yes I have found our Luna!!”

The whole place erupted with applause and shouting and whistles. It all sounded like a concert hall. He let it go on for a few minutes. Then he raised his hand and they all became silent once again.

Elliot: “Luna Kimberly.”

I step onto the platform with no hesitation. This was the scariest thing for me, having all the eyes and applause. I smiled and waved at everyone. I nodded and decided I do want to speak, it was like Elliot knew.

He held up his hand again for the silence to fall and nodded at me.

Kim: “Thank you all for the over whelming welcome. This is such a beautiful pack. I can’t wait to meet you all, and be apart of you.”

While speaking I noticed some girls in the back snickering about something, with all the people it was hard to tell. I waved and turned to kiss Elliot on the cheek.

Elliot: “A few more announcements. Training will be at 10am tomorrow, and Beta Caleb will be handling most pack business. Thank you all.”

Elliot got off the platform first then turned around grabbed my hips. He spun me around off the platform and into him. He kissed my forehead and turned to walk back to the table. He held his hand for me to hold and took it eagerly anticipating the fireworks. When we got to the table Maggie was gone.

Kim: “Where is Maggie?”

Cathy: “Her mom called and she thought she should fill her in on the last few days. I think I should turn in though. I need to fill Jackson in on the events here, if we are staying longer. I might be useful in trianing tomorrow if I get enough sleep. Good night Kimmy Love you”

Kim: “Tell Jackson Hello for me. Goodnight Cathy, love you Darlin. Thank you for everything on this trip.”

We hug as she makes her way to her room.

Luna Connie and Alpha Robert comes over

Connie: “Will you join us for training tomorrow? Or do you and Elliot need to work things out and have some time together.”

Robert: “Con don’t be pushy, they will do things in their time. Things will work out.”

Kim: “Actually I’d like attend training. I have never seen wolf training but in human form i take self defense classes. Elliot and I can talk after right?"

They both look at me a little confused.

Elliot: “Cathy had the right idea, I’m cashing out for the day. Mother, Father, goodnight. Love you both. Luna care to come with me?”

I could see he did not want to fill his parents in on everythign out in the open so I followed his lead.

Kim: “That sounds lovely Elliot. Thank you. Goodnight and I will see you two in the morning.”

With that Elliot led me to my room.

Kim: “You are such a gentleman.”

Elliot: “My mother bless her heart taught me well, sometimes she gets excited and forgets to use all of her manners.”

Kim: “That’s ok, it happens to us all… would it be ok if maybe we just sit and talk for a minute?”

Elliot: “Kimberly anything you want, I will gladly do.”

We walk in to the room and I sit on the bed first, while he took the spot next to me. I could feel he was nervouse about what i wanted to talk about. It was the shift in the air but he would not deny me the chat or answers he might give.
