Chapter 5

"Where the hell have you been?" My mom yelled at us when we walked through the door.

"At the mall." Mike said.

"For two hours!"

"Yes."

"Did we do something wrong?" I ask looking around our house.

"Ellie said you stole her ring and she wants it back." Mom said bitterly.

"What ring?"

"This ring I found it in your room!" She held out her hand in it was a diamond ring in the shape of a tiara. It's the ring that Ellie always wear and how did it end up in my room in the first place?

"I didn't take her ring she must have put it there to get me in trouble again."

"Stop blaming your mistakes on your sister all the time!"

"Mom you found it!" Ellie said walking up and grabbed the ring from mom putting it on. "where'd you find it at?"

"In your sisters room."

"Your always taking my things!" She points at me smirking.

"I didn't take any of your stuff and you put that ring in my room to get me in trouble again!" I yelled at her.

"Did not and stay out of my room!"

"I was never in your room to begin with." I give her a blank look.

"Stop lying you thief!"

"I'm not lying and I'm not a thief."

"Thief!"

What happened to the older sister I use to have? The one that love me cared for me. Ellie use to be so nice to me but now she acts like I'm nothing but a piece of sh*t.

Mom changed to, she loved me like a mother should. She would sing to me tell me I'm beautiful and I could do anything I put my mind to. One day she was telling me she loved me and the next thing I knew she was different. She was yelling at me telling me she hated me that I'll never find my mate that I'm ugly. It's like she changed over night and stayed that way, she abusive and shows so much hatred towards me.

"I don't have time for your nonsense Ellie but I got to go."

"Where are you going?" She asked.

"None of your damn business. Where's dad at?"

"He's in his office, why?"

'Man she's nosy as hell' My wolf Scarlett said and I don't answer back I just turn on my heels and headed to dad's office, Mike following close behind. We walk in and see dad working on some papers at his desk. He turns around looking at us, he looked stressed out and tired.

"Father I'm going to stay over Mike's house." I told him.

"For how long?"

"Um a few days that's if they let me." I look over at Mike.

"Sure stay as long as you want." He said smiling.

"Okay so a few day then and I can help you and Lily with the twins." I offered.

"Sure she'll be happy to have you help."

"Mike I know you and alpha Michael are best friends but please tell me when he's coming over so I'll know." Alpha Michael is my mate but he rejected me said I wasn't fit to be a Luna that I was to weak. He's also my brothers best friend and he goes over his house a lot, one more thing he's dating my sister Ellie Slut Alexandria, that's how I put it.

"Sure." He give me a look.

"You say sure to much I hope you know that."

"Um...I do don't I?"

"Yes and is there something you wanna tell me?" I cross my arms over my chest, tapping my foot.

"Um..."

"Spit it out already."

"Michealsaidhewascomingovertodayforafewhours."

"What?"

"Michael said he was coming over today for a few hours."

"Well in that case keep him out of my sight!" I walk over to our dad and took one of the cookies that was on his desk and sighed "why does he have to come over today how bout another day?"

"I don't know why don't you ask him."

"Nope!"

"Charlotte stop eating my cookies!" Dad took the cookie from my hand.

"Hey I wasn't done with that!" I yell at him for taking the cookie from me.

"Make your own."

"But yours are sooo good!" I complained.

"Your always eating something."

"Yep I'm a hungry woman I gotta eat." I give him a hug and a kiss on the cheek "love ya papa."

"Love you to sweetie." I take another cookie and run for it "hey I said make your own!" He yell at me and I hear Mike laughing down the hall. I go to my room and get my things that I'm going to need there and so girl stuff just in case I need them. We leave and I help Mike get my shopping bags out of his car and go in. My room is on the second floor, it was the second biggest room in the house. It had red walls black curtains a king sized bed with a white dresser on each side of the bed, a walk in closet and a bathroom of my own there also was a balcony and a tv.

"Wow this room is beautiful!"

"Its your room. Lily made me put it together for you when we moved in."

"Why?" I look at him confused.

"Cause she knew you would need somewhere to stay if you left dad's before you got your own place. She said that mom was going to abuse you to the point that you'd leave, so she let you have one of the spare bedrooms."

"That was nice of her to do."

"Yeah the walls were purple and I was going to leave it that way but she said red and black was more of your thing."

"Oh but I would have been fine with purple you didn't have to repaint it."

"I know but I wanted to."

"Where's Lily, Aria, and Jake at?" I ask putting my bags on the bed sitting down.

"She took them to visit her mom she'll be back in a while?"

"Oh okay."

"Do you need any help with your stuff?"

"No I'll do it."

"Do you need anything at all?" He asked running a hand through his hair.

"Do you got any ingredients to make cookies for us?"

"Yes we do."

"Okay thanks, if you need me I'll probably be in here or the kitchen."

"Okay."

He leaves shutting the door behind him. I start taking my clothes out of my bags and hanging them up. I put my things where they belong when I was done I sat on the bed at turned the tv on. I flipped through the channels until I found what I was looking for, it was Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I sat back and watched it.

After watching tv for a while I went down stairs to the kitchen. Mike had set some of the ingredients out for me, I washed my hands and started to make them.

'What kind of cookies are you making?' Scarlett asked.

'Chocolate chip.' I answered.

'That sounds good I love chocolate chip cookies.'

'So do I.'

'What are you going to do when Michael gets here?'

'I don't know.' She doesn't answer back and I put the cookies in the oven. I take a seat at the table and get on my computer.

"Hey!" I look up from my computer after a while to see Mike standing there.

"Hey." I stand up just a the oven dinged and I take the cookies out.

"Chocolate chip cookies."

"Yep there my favorite."

"I know."

"What you need?" I ask as he takes a cookie.

"Lily's on her way and-" Before he finished the door bell rang "that Michael right now."

"Oh okay." I grabbed my computer and some cookies "I'm going up stairs and don't you two eat all the cookies from Lily Aria and Jake." I said walking out the kitchen he follows not far behind.

"Okay!" He yelled opening the door.

I stay in my room not wanting to go down stairs so I just wait til Lily gets back. She was taking so long so I head down stairs. Mike and Michael are in the living room playing Call Of Duty, I walk behind the couch and my brother sees me and winks.

I hear foot steps running to the door before it shoots opens and Aria and Jake runs in, Lily not to far behind them. Aria and Jake are two years old, Lily looked exhausted out of her mind. She smiled when she seen me standing there and shut the door.

"Aunt Lottie!" Aria yelled running to me and I picked her up.

"How are you Aria?" I asked "are you being nice to your brother?"

"Yes I'm am."

"No she's not!" Jake said.

"Are to!"

"Am not!"

"Are to!"

"Am not!"

"Aria are you lying to me? Are you being mean to Jake?" I asked as Mike and Michael watched us amused.

"Yes." She hops out of my arms and took Jake's toy out of his hands.

"Hey!" Jake yelled "give it back!"

"No!"

"Aria?" I said sweetly.

"Yes auntie."

"Give Jake his toy back and say I'm sorry."

"But-"

"Aria give it back."

"Okay auntie." She hands him his toy back.

"Say I'm sorry."

"I'm sorry bubba for taking your toy." She gives him a hug and he hugged her back.

"Now then who wants cookies?" I ask and they jump up and down saying me and I look at Mike "there better be some more cookies left."

"There is." He said smiling and Lily takes them in the kitchen to get some cookies.

"Good." His phone rings and he answers it.

"Oh okay she's right here." He said and hands me the phone "it's Nick he wants to ask you something." I take the phone from him.

"Hey hot stuff what you doing?" He asked over the phone.

"Nothing." I said "you?"

"Same um...I wanted to ask if you'll like to go out some time?" He sounded nervous.

"What you mean go out...as in hang out or on a date?" I asked smiling.

"On a date."

"Um give me time to think about that."

"Oh okay just call me wh-"

"Nick I was just kidding of course I'll go out with you!"

"Yes! Do you know how long I've been waiting for this to happen?"

"I guess a long time."

"Ever since I meet you. I'll pick you up tomorrow at 6."

"Okay I'll be waiting."

"See you then."

"See you then. Bye bye Nick."

"Bye hot stuff." I hang up the phone and gave it back to Mike.

"He finally did it didn't he?" He asked putting the phone back in his pocket.

"Yes!"

'Say something to our mate,I wanna hear his voice.' Scarlett sighed.

'Fine.'

"Hey Michael."

"Hi Charlotte nice to see you." He said not meeting my eyes and Lily walks in.

"Lily!" I said with a big smile on my face.

"Uh." She looks at me and noticed the expression on my face "what happened?"

"Guess what, guess what!"

"What? Lady spit it out already!"

"Nick just asked me out!"

"What! When?"

"What's the point of saying just now if your going to ask when." I rolled my eyes.

"Shut up. I can't believe he finally did it when are going on your first date with him?"

"Tomorrow at six."

"Where?"

"He didn't say."

"While you two talk about girl stuff imma get back to playing this game with Michael." Mike said looking back at the tv.

"Mike shut up and I can kick your butt at that game." I said in a mocking tone.

"Is that a challenge I hear?"

"Yes it is Michael you want in?"

"Sure." He just shrugged smiling at me.

"Hand me a controller." I sit beside my brother and he hand me a controller.

"You sure you wanna take this challenge?"Mike asked "since you know your a girl and girls don't like violence."

"That has nothing to do with it your just saying since I'm a girl I can't do anything boys can do."

"Yep that's exactly what I'm saying."

"Imma prove you wrong,girls can do anything boys can." I said and we began the game.
