After the self-harming episode, when Eddie Sang finally calmed down due to the pain, Huang Shaohong seized the opportunity to narrate the fabricated story in detail to the two souls inhabiting Eddie Sang's body.

The gist of his story was that he was a tourist from the north who happened to be on the rooftop at the time. Seeing Eddie Sang and Ma Xiao falling into the pool, he rushed to rescue them, only to be struck by lightning along with them.

Although Huang Shaohong knew his story wouldn't hold up to scrutiny, at that moment, it was the best excuse he could come up with under pressure. He just hoped that Eddie Sang and Ma Xiao wouldn't delve too deep into the matter.

Ma Xiao listened with a bewildered expression. "This sounds so surreal. Are you sure you're not some lost soul trying to possess my body?" It was evident that this journalist had been influenced by various novels and TV dramas.

"If I were to possess anyone, I'd pick him," Huang Shaohong said, still struggling to accept the fact that he had turned into a woman.

"Huang Shaohong, right? So, according to your story... you were near the pool when lightning struck, and you got hit along with us?" Eddie Sang's eyes showed an inexplicable expression upon hearing Huang Shaohong's account.

Shaking his head, Huang Shaohong reiterated his heroic deed of rescuing them. "To be precise, I saw you two falling into the water, and in an attempt to save you, I got struck by lightning. The nurses said they found only you two at the scene, without any sign of others. In other words, I was struck by lightning just to save you, and I vanished into thin air!"

Just as Huang Shaohong was about to evoke a sense of sorrow, Eddie Sang suddenly lunged at him. Startled, Huang Shaohong didn't expect his fabricated "savior" act to provoke such a reaction. Eddie Sang charged towards him again like he had encountered his archenemy.

"You i***t!" Eddie Sang roared. "Don't you know lightning strikes from high places? I bet that lightning was meant for you! If you hadn't approached us like a lightning rod, would we have been struck when we fell into the pool?"

"Damn it, you're being unreasonable! Didn't anyone tell you not to swim during a thunderstorm?" Huang Shaohong couldn't comprehend the other's illogical reasoning.

As the two faced off across the bed, Eddie Sang suddenly softened his tone and expression. "Stop bickering, both of you... The real issue now is how to resolve this situation."

Speaking was Ma Xiao, one of the souls inhabiting Eddie Sang's body. She struggled for control along with Eddie Sang, temporarily silencing him.

Relieved to see Ma Xiao intervene, Huang Shaohong sighed. "I can't reason with this boxer. Why did you come out only now?"

To his surprise, as soon as he asked, Eddie Sang's eyes reddened, and in a girlish voice, he said, "I'm feeling sad. No one has ever treated me like this before. Eddie Sang, you're heartless for hitting a woman!"

After uttering these words, the expression and voice immediately reverted to Eddie Sang's usual masculine demeanor. "I hit myself, okay!"

Huang Shaohong, seeing the impending conflict, hurriedly intervened. "I have a solution. Do you want to hear it?"

The two souls within Eddie Sang's body halted their intent to harm each other and asked, "What solution?"

With a pained expression, Ma Xiao exclaimed, "Don't talk to me like that! It hurts when you clap your hands so loudly!"

This was Ma Xiao speaking. She then looked at Huang Shaohong. "We could try it, but what about you? If we switch back, what will you do?"

With no better option, Huang Shaohong revealed his true thoughts. "I was originally a man. If I become a woman, I might as well be dead. So, I want to go into Eddie Sang's body!"

Ma Xiao smiled approvingly. "That's great! You can live with this boxer."

But just as she finished speaking, her expression suddenly changed to match Eddie Sang's. "Why should you? I'm fine on my own. Neither of you should come!"

Before they could settle the matter, another round of conflict ensued.

Huang Shaohong initially thought he would replace Eddie Sang, but now, with Eddie Sang showing no signs of being replaced, facing a situation with two bodies and three souls, he felt utterly bewildered. It was clearly not going according to plan.
