Duce's POV
5 years later…
"Nica?!" I called Nica after I finished arranging the goods in my little mini grocery store.
"Yes, Mom? I'm here!" Nica immediately ran towards me. She already has a bright smile on her face.
"Can we give her food? Lilly is already hungry." She said apologetically while pointing to her cat, Lily.
"Is she the one who's hungry or you?" My eyes narrowed at her so she snorted to stop the smile on her lips.
"Both of us!" I just laughed softly before ruffling her hair.
I handed her food. One biscuit and drinks. She kept looking at me so I just laughed and reached for the KitKat on the counter to give it to her. She likes sweets too just like me. I just held her while no one entered our shop so she also held Lilly while sitting on my lap.
"How's your day so far?"
