I wore a silky Hawaiian designed shirt and a pair of trousers that I thought looked too casual and unserious without a suit to complement the outfit.
"Loosen up, Damien." I muttered to myself before throwing on sunshades and driving out of the house. Throughout the drive to the beach house, Irene would not stop calling me. I had to switch off my phone as I needed a break from her, from work and from everything that stresses me. Hours later, I got to the place, the sun slowly setting.
I paid for a space in a beach house next to the waters with the intention of spending a few days before returning to work.
"Hey," hours later, my friend showed up just when it was getting late. "I hear you paid to get this space. What's going on?"
"A lot, Mike. Just...can we forget about that and go party?"
"Sure. Let's go."
The party was as lit as I had thought. Booze and women were everywhere and as enticing as they were, I managed to keep my hands to myself. Mike on the other hand could not help himself. At a corner, he was busy with two women who wore nothing other than bikinis. I was there to clear my head with alcohol and relax alone, not get myself involved with some loose women.
That's what I thought until I lifted the second glass of scotch to my lips and heard a crowd cheer across from me. What could be so exciting about watching another person drink? I shook my head and kept drinking.
But it wasn't just another person, it was a woman. My heart stopped when I saw her.
Short and curvy with long hair that fell over her ass, she wore a crop top and Jean shorts that fell just below the crease of her round ass. She was surrounded by tens and tens of men that I felt my protective energy spike up at the sight of their grin and smirking.
"Is she crazy?" I asked myself as I watched her down each shot until the man across from her was swaying.
I began to walk over there before I could stop myself. If she does as much as get intoxicated, those men will not hesitate to take advantage of her.
So, I dragged her away to a quiet dark place where the chilly air could hit both our faces. She turned around, red with fury but as if she saw something, her eyes dimmed almost immediately.
"Who are you?"
I frowned, expecting anything to come out of her lips except that.
"You do know what you just did is dangerous, don't you?"
The flame had returned to her face and as unbothered as I was, I couldn't help but flinch. "And who are you to tell me what to do and what not to do?"
"I'm just a concerned man."
"Oh, really? Is a concerned male supposed to drag a woman to a dark secluded place? I bet you do this to a lot of women!"
I was upset. She had the nerve to accuse me.
"Those men could have taken advantage of you, woman. Just say thank you and move along."
"Just say thank you? I was finally having the best time of my life and you just came and ruined it. My whole life is collapsing on one side and I've come here to hide," she punched me in the chest. "But now you've ruined it!"
I grabbed her wrists to hold her stable but she leaned against me, making my body jump. Why was I reacting strangely to a woman I don't even know? But she looked and seemed like she needed my help which was all that mattered. So I wrapped my arms around her and offered her a warm embrace.
"It's okay. You don't have to worry."
As we stood there in each other's embrace, strangers from different parts of the world, I thought she was trouble since I saw her. Hopefully, I can let her go as easily.
"It's not going to be okay." She shook her head before looking up at me, her eyes round and pleading.
Flicking off her tears with my thumb, I took note of her pretty facial features. Her eyes beckoning to me as fierce as they looked and her full round lips calling to me. They were begging to be kissed and nibbed on. They looked soft but how soft were they? I subconsciously rubbed my thumb on them but that was a bad decision because I'd planted my lips on hers before I could stop myself.
The kiss was brief as she stepped back as though trying to regain her senses. That's when I realized my mistake.
"I apologize. I'm sorry...I shouldn't have..."
She rushed towards me and grabbed my neck while squishing her soft lips on mine. We shared a deep kiss, exchanging touches here and there until my skin was boiling hot and I wanted to touch her without the clothes.
As if on cue, she began to shiver herself.
"Hey," I broke the kiss. "I've got a beach house down there. What do you say we continue in there?"
She hesitated. "What if you attempt to kill me?"
I chuckled. "I would have done that since if I wanted to."
I took her to my place within minutes as I was afraid we would both come back to our senses and realize how stupid this was.
Right then, our senses were clogged. At least, mine was as I took in her scent and grabbed her soft ass. They fit just right in my hands.
"What's your name?" She managed to ask breathlessly. "In case, I need to scream it."
Her words turned me on and almost made me go crazy. I was on beast mode as I yanked her clothes off.
"It's Da..." I thought about my reputation and everything at risk so I took advantage of the fact that she didn't know me. "It's Dax."
"Okay, Dax." She giggled, her face turning rosy red as she stood naked before me.
The woman was beautiful. I took off my clothes as well and led her right to my bed where I went straight to the point. Throughout the night, I pinned her against the bed, the counter, the bathtub and f****d her senseless. Until she could scream my name no more and was left panting. Out of breath.
I was satisfied as I had her in my arms but it was crazy how much I craved her. I had only met her for a night and I was finding it hard to let go.
"Who is this woman?"
Perhaps, I was going crazy. I should be thinking this way with Irene but it was way different. I never craved another round of s*x with her. It was always a one time moment that I loathed each day. Often times, I'd asked myself why I was still with her but I knew I honored my father which was the most important thing. For now, I could focus on legally annuling our marriage.
The woman rolled and leaned in closer to me. At once, my d**k rose again.
"This is stupid." I murmured as I slowly rolled out of bed and went to wash my face.
I switched on my phone to find twenty one missed calls and over fifty messages. It was the usual. Her threats and nagging. I didn't have the time to go over them so I dressed up, dropped a stack of money on the cabinet and walked away.
Away from the woman that was like a poisonous magnet. I was not a moth that should be attracted to fire when I knew it could burn me ruthlessly. She seemed like trouble and I would not accommodate trouble.
