Evy pov

When he told me he's parents always on business trip, he had a look on his face anger,sadness.

I know he is hiding something. I want to ask but i don’t want a uncomfortable situation between us. Also I'm not even close to him that he will tell me.

Bushing away my thoughts i can feel his eyes on me from behind. We were walking a bit slow.

When saw that Ice-cream shop i quickly grab his hand pull him to the shop quickly.

Finally! I sighed in relief.

When i turn to see him, he was already looking at me with a bit shocked expression.

Then i realised i was still holding his hand.

"I'm sorry i didn’t realise " i said lowing my head.

"Not that i mind" he said looking at me.

Lucas pov

"Which flavour you want?" she asked with a huge smile

"Nah, I'm okay "

"You don’t want Ice-cream? " she ask shocked her mouth held open

"Why are you being like this for a Ice-cream? what are you year old?" i asked

"Duh Ice-cream is life,it’s the best comfort food top of that It's Ice-cream how can you not like it?"

She Shout the last part.

"It’s not like i hate it, it’s just-

She cut me off

"Stop with this s**t come and get one" she said slightly getting angry

Jeez, this girl is getting angry over an Ice-cream. Unbelievable.

Following her words i took Ice-cream, she was about to pay but hell like i'm gonna let her.

She tried to protest but i give her a look so she shut her mouth and let me pay.

Such a good girl. I just chuckled at her silly behaviour.

"Let's hurry up and go from here, if i stay longer her i might ended up eating half of these Ice-creams" she said and i chuckled again.

Evy pov

We were walking heading back to my home and enjoying our Ice-cream suddenly my phone ring and it was Joy

"Hey babe" Joy shout from the other side

"Stop shouting Joy"

"We are going to a party wanna come?" she asked

"No, i have work to do " i replied which was true. My brother was on business trip so i was handling all the paper work of our company.

I didn’t go to company my secretary brought all the documents to my house.

And i need to work on that today

"Okay, i wish you could come..even Mark is coming with us " she said and i was surprised. Mark and i Don't do parties.

"Sorry babe i can't come"

"Okay see you tomorrow " Joy said and cut the call.

"Why did she called? " Lucas asked, he looked a bit curious

"They r going on a party even Mark is going" i replied and look at my Ice-cream. I'm almost done eating.

"Why didn’t you go?" he questioned rising his eyebrow.

"I don’t like parties, beside i have work to do." i replied and he just nodded.

After lucas walk me home he took his bike and went away.

I have so much work to do. I order my dinner it will take time to come. I can't cook and my maid is not here today so i just order some food.

It was almost 10. I was tired. So i thought i should take a break. There was still so much paper work left.

I went to the kitchen and eat dinner and watch TV.

After watching tv i again start to work.

Around 4 or 5 am i fall sleep.

Next day

I woke up by that annoying sound of my alarm. I hate this. It was 8 am.

I get up from my bed, went to bathroom took a shower

When i was done changing my cloths i Wednesday downstairs and saw my Caretaker Sam (samanta her full nsme).

She made me breakfast



I run over and start eating. She laugh and say "Good morning to you too" in a mocking way

When i was done i thanked her and went outside and saw Mark just arrived.

He text me yesterday that he will pic me up.

"Marrrkkkkkk, how are you? You went to the party, did you drink, are you okey?"

"Breath doll breath,

First of all they forced me to go their, the party wasn’t that bad but i still prefer not to go and i didn’t drink and lastly I'm okay " he said with a smile.

"Okay now let's go".
