And despite Yeolchan’s thoughtful reminder, Jaehyun still runs down the stairs because he believes he’s memorized all the steps in his own house and he won’t embarrass himself by tripping or slipping. Luckily for him, he’s not met with a humiliating accident once on his way and he gets back to his room safely with a new box of tropical fruit-flavored toothpaste that he and Chanhyun bought a few days ago.
Jaehyun walks into his room and removes the seal of the box. He throws the plastic seal into the bin next to the nightstand and absently walks on his way. Reaching the half-open door of the bathroom, he pauses and sees Chanhyun sitting on the sink in front of the mirror, with Yeolchan holding him for safety and raining his small face with kisses as the kid giggles.
