I watched the zombies get in. There were three of them in total. At that moment, I had dragged my fur babies under the bed and was lying there too. I held my breath and didn't dare make a sound. The residents on the first floor were reckless enough to light candles and take a bath. They immediately became the first people the zombies ripped open. One zombie seemed to have been a homeless man before he died. His hair was tangled, and his mouth was full of yellowed, rust-colored teeth. As if it had been starving for ages, it tore open the man's abdomen with its sharp nails and began devouring him. The other two zombies didn't fall behind. They climbed up the walls, reached through windows, and dragged men and women out one by one to eat them. For a while, screams rang out without end.
