Reese POV “She’ll be fine.” “Her hands just moved.” “She’s waking up.” The voices sound far away at first, blurred and overlapping, like echoes bouncing inside my skull. My eyelids feel heavy, glued shut but I force them open. Light hits me—bright and sudden. My vision swims before everything settles into focus. Faces.
