She glanced around Canessa's neck to see the ground below them. All was still white with occasional dark patches. There wasn't much to look at on the plains. She was glad to hear they weren't going to Zurl. The war had never made it that far because of the blizzard. The city of Plaine was the furthest northwest that Plaz's men had gotten. She heard from Marn last night that Eastson was as far as Plaz himself had gotten before he was killed.
