Chapter 40. The Great Room
"We stayed really high. Weather is shitty. Visibility was terrible. Water thinks she saw a human gathering of machines about hundred miles from here. That puts them here tomorrow if she's right."
"Thanks, Orca. I'll let the boys know," she said, spinning to return to the Great Room.
She repeated what Orca had said to Walt.
"We'll be putting the new turbines into operation once the sails are on. We plan on working through the night. Early tomorrow morning we will have three turbines braked. Maybe even four" he said. "Because of the weather, we have an excess, so if the new turbines produce less, we will have full batteries as backup to help. They may experience some brownouts down in the valley, but those are minor."
