Chapter 47. Nothing but Trouble
"And you're right. Boring as hell. Common sense works better. I'd move this one," she said, pointing.
There were a few rumbles of dragon agreement.
"But…but…"
Chase seemed to stare harder at the pieces.
"You're over thinking," she said.
He made the move she suggested, but he didn't look like he liked to.
Sniffer was about to do his winning move when Katina
ruffled her wings.
Time, she said.
Tempura rose to man the Great Door while Chase manned the inner door.
With a rush of wings, all twenty-six dragons were gone.
Chase sat back down with Sniffer to finish the game which only required Sniffer to do his last move.
"Your move cost me the game," Chase said.
Tempura laughed.
Traktor rumbled that it was his turn.
The game hardly lasted ten min
