CHAPTER SIX

I hope you don't have a girlfriend with that ugly body of yours" Camry taunted, smirking as she eyed Zaker’s back while walking behind him. "You sure have a lot to say, princess. Keep talking" Zaker replied, his voice calm. "Ugh, a calm voice doesn't suit you, Shrek" she mocked. "Keep running that mouth. I love it" Zaker said, his tone teasing. "Your new digs. Enjoy" he added as he opened the door to her room and they stepped inside. "Wow, I guess almost everything in this house is breathtaking" she muttered, glancing around the room, which was painted in purple. She dropped her luggage beside the bed before collapsing on it with a loud sigh. "I'm so tired" she groaned, closing her eyes. Suddenly, she felt a hard gaze on her. Opening her eyes, she saw Zaker staring at her intently. She frowned. "Excuse me, is there a problem?" she asked arrogantly, standing up from the bed and walking toward him. "You're stunning. And those curves? Unbelievable" he said, licking his lips. She stopped in front of him, folding her arms, and stared directly into his eyes. "You look like a playboy to me" she said, her tone suspicious. He closed the distance between them, making sure her chest was pressed against his. She raised an eyebrow, but before she could react, his hands cupped her ass, squeezing it softly. She gasped, turning to glance at his hands, then back at him with fury in her eyes. She tried to slap him, but he quickly grabbed her wrists, spun her around, and pushed her against the wall, her back hitting it hard. Leaning close to her ear, his breath fanned against her skin, sending an involuntary shiver down her spine. "Yeah, I'm a playboy" he whispered, his voice dark and teasing. "But you're the only one who makes me want to break some rules now, hot cousin" He licked her earlobe, and she angrily shoved him away. He responded with a cunning smile. "Are you stupid or high on something?" she snapped, glaring at him. "Are you actually flirting with me, your cousin? Hah" She laughed, incredulous. "You're such a dîckhead" she said, pointing her finger at him. "That's the nicest thing you've said to me so far" he winked. His phone suddenly rang, interrupting the moment. He pulled it out, glanced at the caller's name, and his mood shifted instantly. Without a word, he declined the call and walked out of the room. Camry watched him leave, chuckling under her breath. "That bastard. What was he thinking, grabbing my a$$ like that? Ugh, how dare he! He's on my blacklist now" she muttered, touching her a$$. Then she remembered something. "Oh my gosh, where's Coco?" In a panic, she rushed out of the room. She stepped into the hallway and sighed in relief when she saw the cat squatting by the door. "Seriously, Coco? You're just sitting here?" she sighed again, scooping up the cat. She returned to her room and locked the door behind her. After dropping the cat on the bed, she stripped off her clothes and headed into the bathroom. MEANWHILE, Zaker sat in a chair in his room, eyes burning with anger as he smoked. The air was thick with smoke, his frustration palpable. His grandfather's call had set him off, and the veins in his neck bulged, his jaw clenched tight. "Damn him" Zaker growled. He couldn't shake his grandfather's familiar words that echoed in his mind. "They died because of you, Zaker. Because of you" His anger surged, but suddenly, Camry's face flashed in his thoughts. His expression softened slightly. "Fiery. Why do I want to make her mine so badly?" he muttered. Zaker crushed his cigarette beneath his shoe and stood up from the chair. He grabbed a red hoodie from his wardrobe and threw it on. Taking a deep breath, Zaker stepped out of the room. Minutes later, he was inside a dark cave. His heavy breathing filled the space as he held his bleeding stomach. His phone lit up the cave's darkness, displaying a message: 'Anytime you feel that stab, remember how my son and daughter-in-law died because of you, Zaker' FLASHBACK* After leaving his room, Zaker headed straight for his car. He got in, started the engine, and drove off. On the way, his phone buzzed with a notification. 'Come to the usual place. If you're late, I'll make it double' He chuckled to himself. "That old hag" Within minutes, he arrived at the location. He got out of his car and walked toward the woods, heading deeper into the forest until he reached the mountain. Approaching the entrance, he stepped into the cave, which was shrouded in darkness. As soon as he entered, he heard footsteps behind him. He turned around, only to be stabbed. ________ PRESENT* Zaker slowly and weakly rose to his feet, turning off his phone before staggering out of the cave. He managed to reach his car, where he retrieved a first aid kit from the backseat. Grunting in pain, he treated the wound himself. After waiting 30 minutes, he started the car and drove away from the area.
