Mason             “Leave us.” I don’t take my eyes off of her as I dismiss the rest of the room, expecting them to do as they are told and leave but with no sound of an opening door or shuffling feet, I’m forced to move my eyes away from Aria’s sunken face.                 Connor is the first to meet my eyes, “Nice of you to join us here in the living.”                            “Connor!” Aria scoffs as her feet seem to unglue themselves from the floor where she was frozen in place.
