Aria “We got him.” My shoulders drop to the back of the couch for a moment as relief fills me. The threat is gone, at least for now. But Mason still doesn’t look well he’s too pale, his eyes still clenched closed while Chase works on him. My only reassurance comes from the occasional grunts and moans he responses with. Honestly, I don’t feel great either. “Alive?” Looking to Levi who just walked into the panic room I wait for him to respond. “Yup. Dibb’s taking him to a secure location before we involve the authorities.” I hold the gauze to my side. It’s worse off than the deep graze on my arm. Chase only glanced at it so far, but he suspects I chipped some bone along my rib cadge but he suspects it hit nothing major or life-threatening.            We won’t know till he looks deep
