“Shock to see me?” he said while we were here in his car.
“How did you know we’re here in this kind of place?” I asked him so cluelessly.
“I asked your mom and she said that you and your friends are going to the amusement park to celebrate your birthday and I said I am your friend too and I guess I am invited to that kind of celebration, am I?” he explained his part.
“Of course,” the only word I said.
He’s now driving somewhere we can eat together. My friends have gone back to the hotel and I told them that I will go there later. Still, I can’t imagine my face earlier when all of us are shocked to see Josh where we are.
“When did you come back?” I asked him.
“Just now, tomorrow is your birthday, that's why I came back,” he said and then smiled.
