We Collided

OMG!!! How could you hide it from us! I knew it! Oh, you hit it Saj! Salute you Girl! You two perfectly fit for each other! Those words I hear on the whole night we have been together. They don't want to sleep in the guest room and they fit their whole body and soul here in my bedroom. They kept asking me about the things Ken and I have done for the past 5 months of courting me. 

“Is he even sweet to you?” Kylie asked while tickling my waist. 

I don’t know if I have the right to answer these questions like I have the rights but of course, I am still shy about sharing all of the things Ken and I share. 

“Don’t question her like that, Kylie. It’s confidential, but is that true? Is he even sweet and caring to you?” Savannah stated and all the girls laughed together. 

“Don’t shout it out. Mom’s here,” I uttered to them and browsed my phone for a moment. I browsed my phone at exactly the time Ken messaged me. 

Ken: Goodnight, we're going to enjoy tomorrow’s vacation. 

I smiled the moment I saw his message. I replied and I put my phone on the table and looked at the girls ‘cause they became silent. 

“What?!” I uttered, bringing a smile to my face. 

“I guess you’re in love now,” she said with a teary-eyed face. 

“Yesh, it’s okay don’t cry. She’s not going to marry at her age right now. Save your tears for her wedding day! duh,” Savannah said while calming the teary-eyed girl. 

“So let’s keep this a secret?” Serenity stated and let our promise be sealed and to not be broken. They all agreed that they will keep this secret away from my Family nor Josh and let me be happy right at this moment. It's been 2 am since they started to get tired emotionally and physically. I got that time to do my stuff and packed my things as we will out of town for 2 days. 

I’ll let them sleep for a while and clean my messy room. 

It’s already 5 am when they all woke up to their alarms. I am already finished doing my things and I’m going to wait for them. The excitement is on their faces. We are now going to the playground near the apartment of Prin and Ken will fetch us there. He hired a van and a driver for our vacation today. Ken also brought his 3 friends and my girls are hysterically right now. They easily get attached to Prin and they are happily talking in the van and talking about certain matters of life. I have no energy and am tired after what I've done earlier. 

“Can’t get enough sleep?” Ken asked me, he’s sitting beside me. 

“Yeah, I didn’t get enough sleep ‘cause they’re asking so many questions,” I said sarcastically. 

“Lean on me,” he said. 

I looked at him as I didn't get what he wanted me to do. He slowly grabbed my head and placed it on his shoulder.

“Rest now, you need energy for the entire day,” he whispered to me and I let myself sleep for a while. 

I woke up as I heard the birds chirp and saw that everyone was out of the van except me and Ken. I cleaned my face and I glanced at him. He is sleeping right beside me. I spotted a strand of hair on his cheek and I think I can put it out without his knowledge. 

I tried to lean on him and be closer enough to put the strand out. I look at him and no wonder how the other girls want him. He is truly handsome. His jawline moves every time he talks, his nose bridge that's so cute, his eyes that speak everything, and his kissable lips. His lips. 

"Trying to kiss me?" he uttered as he opened his eyes. I pulled back my body out of shyness. I can't even look at it. What the hell am I thinking. I lost my mind. 

“I j-just pull out the strand of hair in your cheeks. Nothing more, you assuming guy,” I uttered but guilty I guess. He leaned to the window and looked at me curiously. I wasn’t able to look at him the same as he looked at me. I guess I am still guilty of what I am trying to do. 

Argh, Sayaka you fool. 

He adjusted his seat unto me and he looked closer as I am stuck in my place and I can’t even move my body. As I closed my eyes and ready for his lips to land on my lips. 

“Let’s go, baby,” he uttered while inches apart from my lips. I stood up in shyness about what I thought he’ll do to me. 

I walk out of the van and let the fresh beach air welcome me. I already smell the saltiness of the sea and I am ready to meet it today. Ken finally went out of the car and looked at the far side of the parking area. There’s the hotel we checked in, I wonder if everyone’s there already while we are here in the van. What do they think as of now? 

“Where are the others?” I look at him and ask him while he is enjoying the view too. The sun is still in the sky and it’s not kind of hot. the view of the beach and its white pure sand. It’s amazing. 

We walked through the hotel and I followed him entering the elevator. 

“They’re in their suites already. We arrived here around 1 pm,” he uttered as he pointed out what floor we were coming in. 

I shook my head and followed him through the suites. Luckily my four friends are having their discussion about what they are going to wear on the beach. I entered the room and I was like a shadow or ghost that was not seen by anyone. 

“Fetch you later,” he stated and then closed the door for me. 

I sit on the couch and the four girls are busy murmuring and laughing sweetly at each other. I looked at them and had a face like 'what's the matter?' and they don't even get it. 

"Saj, let's swim later," Seren said while picking her swimsuit. 

"Yeah, why are you all so excited? Did I miss something?" I asked in a confused way. 

"Yeah! One of the friends of Ken, hitting Savannah earlier and she flirts back," Kylie said while laughing. I did a facepalm for what Savannah habitually does. She usually does that to men and after that, she leaves them hanging and ends their flirt relationship that hard. 

"Pack your things well, we are not going to sleep here. We were going to sleep in the rooms near the beach. Ken said that we will do a bonfire later," Yesh stated and the girls followed her command. 

Time flies and the sun begins to come across the mountains and reveals its orange light to the shore. How beautiful it was and I will remember each day how sunset and beach let me think about my loving Dad. At this moment all of the memories reflect on the rays of the sun towards the shore and suddenly I feel so loved and I know my Father will always keep me safe. I shrugged and watched how the light became dark. My friends are busy doing the chores, they know already why I am here at the shore. They knew what I was reminiscing about. 

"Sunset also tells you that you completed fighting on an entire day. You must take a break," Ken uttered and sat beside me. 

"He's my fortress. That's why I love being at the beach. It reminds me of him," I uttered while grabbing my feet along. 

"He must be very special to you. If he sees you this way he will be so proud of you," 

"You've grown up smart, pretty, and good Sayaka," he said while looking at me and motivating me for what I am thinking about. I lost all of my strength and the tears started to fall. I can't even feel it. I am numb right now. He immediately grabbed my cheeks and took away all the tears flowing on them. 

"I can be your strength whenever you feel weak. You can lean on me," he said and then kissed me on my forehead. 

I am shocked about what he did but I feel safe and sound. I have my strength right now and I can't believe he is. I lean on his shoulder and look at the peaceful view of the beach and enjoy the night together with our friends. 

"Okay let's play truth or dare! No one can't play this game. Don't be so killjoy," Nathan stated to us. We are here at the shore, sitting in a circle and enjoying nature with the fun we have together. 

"Nate, let's go!" Rain said and Nathan did his part. Ken's friends are the ones who engaged us in games. Luckily, my friends are okay with it and also they enjoy it. 

Nathan twisted the bottle with a smile on his lips. I can see that everyone is nervous being the first one to answer some ridiculous questions. Prin laughed so hard when she saw whose turn it was. The bottle picks Ayesha. Everyone shouted in excitement and Gab started to ask the question. 

"Truth or Dare," Gab said and everyone is curious about the question he will give. I smiled and also teased her for being she and Gab are fit for each other. 

Ayesha started rolling her eyes unto us and picked. “Truth,” she uttered and then ready to answer the burning question from Gab. We became quiet at the moment and waited for the burning question to be stated. 

“Do I have a chance on you?” Gab’s burning question is indeed a burning question. We shout in excitement and let Yesh state her burning answer. She doesn’t even flinch on the burning question and I know she has a burning answer too. 

She stood up and sat beside Gab and looked at him and answered. “We can try, why not?” she said. 

All of us are in shock at what she uttered and she goes back to her original place and no one could explain what would be their initial reaction to her answer. 

Next, the bottle picks Sav. 

“Truth or dare,” Rain asked her with a smile on his face. 

“Hell dare,” Sav said with a bored tone. 

The game is intense and everyone is looking and expecting a burning question and answer. 

“Kiss me,” he uttered and then pointed out his cheek and cute dimples on it. 

“Something hard please?” she said and then stood up and gave Rain a peck of a kiss. 

Everyone still can’t get over what's happening in this intense game and we are having fun playing this until. Bottle picks, Sayaka. 

"Truth or dare," Ken stated and everyone was waiting for the answer. 

"Dare," I said without hesitation. Everyone was happy with my answer and I don't know what they are planning to be. 

"Get blindfolded," Ken uttered and brought out a handkerchief. Nathan held me and blindfolded my eyes. I asked them what this is for and they are not responding to my questions. I find myself walking with my hands held by someone and I just go with the flow. I sense that I am going to the house and someone opened the door. As he gets the handkerchief on my eyes I am amazed at what I see. 

The room was filled with the pictures we have taken Ken and me for the past 5 months. They are gathered on the ceiling and decorated very well. The bed has rose petals and Ken was standing on the right side of the bed. Nathan held me to Ken and he closed the door for us to have a heart-to-heart talk with each other. 

"Ms. Sayaka Jian Alcantara, I know you're shocked at what we are doing right now but trust me. 

I am nervous right now," he uttered and smiled at me. I am confused and I don't know what to feel. I feel that my tears will start to flow again in a bit. 

"We are here to create a new chapter of our life together and I know that we are going further and stronger," he's doing his speech. We walked outside the house and let our feet touch the pure white sand near the shore. 

"You're very special to me and you deserve more," His speech touches my heart and I feel safe with his words. My tears started to fall and I saw our friends on the shore waiting for us to come there. 

"This is the first time I'll going to say this to you and it means everything to me," 

"I love you," he uttered. 

I can't contain my feelings anymore. I feel so loved right at this moment. Too much happiness I felt right now and I am so glad because God gave him to me. 

"I thank God 'cause He gave me a very special girl at His right time," 

"Right now, I will ask you a very important question and I am very happy right now Sayaka," I saw the lights on the sand that create letters and I covered my mouth as I read those words. I look at my friends and they are very happy right now. I saw the happiness in their eyes. You nailed it, Ken! He knelt to the ground and pull out a necklace and said, "Will you be my girlfriend, baby?" 

That sentence ruined my whole life for good.
