Chapter 16  My Room

1503 Words
I was escorted back to my private room. I let out a deep breath, allowing myself a moment to reflect on my personal quest for self-discovery as well as my experiences. When I finally opened my eyes, a peculiar feeling of uneasiness washed over me as I noticed a hidden basket near the table, seemingly appearing out of nowhere. Filled with intrigue, I carefully rose from the bed and approached it, my curiosity growing with every step. With trepidation, I reached out and uncovered the coarse, aged fabric, only to discover a collection of ancient volumes that revealed the mysterious realm of shadow figures and underworld vampires, and spell books I hadn’t gotten to in the library because of the turn events. I do pray and hope that Levi wakes up soon. Suddenly, a thunderous knock reverberated through the door, causing me to approach it with great caution. Much to my astonishment, the door burst open with an untamed fury, exposing Hades standing in front of me. His eyes were deep and brimming with a ferocious wrath. His scorching arms clasping my neck, lifting me off the ground, my breath fading as I suffocated, my face turning into a mottled canvas of red, blue, and purple. In an explosion of violence, he mercilessly slammed me against the unforgiving sharp stones, forcefully dislocating my left shoulder with a resounding c***k, leaving my arm limp and uselessEven though I was contorted in unbearable pain, I managed to find the strength within me to inhale desperately, pushing back against the relentless onslaught of agony that threatened to overpower my senses.as I questioned him, "What is happening? Why did you do this?" Hades coldly replied, "Because you are the one who put Levi in a coma, and now you must pay." As the memory of the library incident replayed relentlessly in my mind, I vehemently denied his accusation. You were there, Allee. You must be held accountable for your actions. I didn't do anything to Levi, only to the beast that came charging in. While Hades and I were engaged in a fierce battle, shouting and exchanging blows, Lucifer suddenly burst into the room, accompanied by two guards. The unforeseen twist occurred when the guards outside my quarters decided to ignore the situation, acknowledging Hades' powerful position as a ruler of the underworld, which enabled him to behave toward me as he pleased. Lucifer had the guards pull Hades away from me. As they removed him, they barricaded the door to prevent his reentry. Shortly after, we heard a plaintive voice exclaim, "Where are you, Hades?" called out Lilith. Hades emerged, and from Lilith's lips came the words, "Oh, my beloved Snookums, what has befallen you? Did that wretched woman cause you harm?" As Lilith and Hades crossed paths, they swiftly departed, wearing the masks of innocence, cunningly casting him as the sole victim in this troubling encounter. Ahh, said Lucifer, they're gone now. Let's patch you up. No need to patch me up, I’ll heal in a few moments. Lucifer looked puzzled with bewilderment on his face. How can you heal what is going on? Well, in the library before the monster and Levi fell into a coma, him and I were looking a different book and I came across a lost spell which I believe is connected to me. It was in a book that was meant to be erased from time or something not sure, but the monster destroyed that so no one will ever know what else was in the golden book with black, blue and red trim. I wrote some facts down but nothing too big. Lucifer, you're a fallen angel, right ? Well yes, so you have the power of Jesus and God running through you correctly. Yes, what are you getting at? I'm going to heal myself with my own little chant. Do you trust me? Also, there are still many things I need to understand about you. Well, I guess, what do you need from me? Stand before me, take my hand in yours, palm to palm, and recite these words with me. I open myself up to the light, from dusk to dusk, from moon to moon, the prayers of the greatest kings. La-mora, La-mora, our intertwined hands shine with a brilliance that Lucifer only ever witnessed in heaven before his fateful descent. The warmth, the love, the harmony – these are the blessings of having a righteous family by your side. He was overcome with emotion, grappling with the inexplicable phenomenon before him. He realized the feeling of heaven he missed greatly. This feeling of heaven fled away once he realized it wasn’t him floating, but it was Allee. She was floating high near the ceiling, her radiant glow of yellow, orange and purple illuminating the room. Suddenly, she sprouted wings made of fluffy gray and white clouds, resembling a never-before-seen angel. With each person and creature she encountered, Allee seemed to gain more power and unlock new knowledge about herself. Piece by piece, she began to put together clues that had previously made no sense, as if she was destined to fulfill many purposes in this kind of world. Floating and spinning in the air, Allee gracefully floated down to the ground. Lucifer glanced at her, carefully assessing Allee's condition. There were no signs of any fractures or dislocated shoulders; in fact, Allee appeared to be in excellent health, fit, and fully prepared for battle. What on earth was that all about, "Allee"? I'm not quite sure, but I believe it's a manifestation of my powers, able to harmonize both good and evil elements." If that is indeed the case, then you must be the one with the power to create. Is it not evident that I need to expand my understanding of governing different realms and timelines to ensure peace? There must be a direct connection between this need and the reason I was brought to the underworld. You may not have realized it initially, but after Levi discovered that you have no recollection of your past lives or memories, he made a profound realization. He diligently gathered information and pieced together the connection between you and a necromancer pit. Upon hearing his theories, I, Lucifer, reached out to God and pleaded for his guidance, promising to aid you unconditionally. Despite being banished to the underworld and given the task of watching over Hades, I continue to reflect upon the decision I made alongside God in the past. Allee, your genetic material is a unique combination of everyone's DNA. Humans, Gods, and all creatures, rest assured that one day you will discover the means to utilize your power for the greater good. However, it is imperative that we find a way to rescue you from the depths of the underworld as soon as possible. As this was being said, one of Lilith's faithful maid servants was eavesdropping and overheard that Lucifer was going to help Allee escape from the underworld. She needed to tell everything she would have heard soon. She finished her task then headed down the hallway in the direction of Lilith's room. Lufcier emphasize the urgency of gathering as much information as possible and acquiring any items that may aid in your escape within the next three days. I will inform Herbert to prepare everything for Damon. You will both leave in three days' time. Then, as Lufcier left, I returned to search for those books that had mysteriously emerged. I delved into the compelling story of the shadow people. In their grasp lay the tormented spirits of the damned, the lost souls, and those who had never placed their faith in the existence of Gods. There was a remarkable candle spell a few pages later—a powerful incantation that could restore fortune to all those burdened with ill luck. Here it is: The hold of a bond from a master to slave with melted wax. The bond shall not last. From dark to light shall now be set free. With a new life, a new bond can last. Reading this gave me hope that finding these spells and learning how to use them can help so many people and creatures on my travels. Thinking about traveling makes me realize that I need to return to Preston. I can only imagine how worried he must be not being able to reach me. Since he found me, he has been very protective, and I miss the guys from the wolf pack. The pack will be an invaluable aid in raising Damon. On the other hand, I find myself burdened with Lucifer, who is trapped in this world. He is the crucial other half of Damon, bound by blood, and navigating this world with him is beyond overwhelming. Damon simply cannot thrive without the guidance of his father and guardian. I am determined to find a way to fulfill the needs of others as I delve deeper into the understanding of these realms.
