Chapter 15 The Library

It was eight hundred hours, Levi proceeded to Allee's room and with a hard knock and with no answer he knocked a few more knocks on the door, there still was no response. After knocking again, Levi inquired with the guards posted outside her room. The one guard was a towering gray fish-man with spiky gills covering his body, webbed feet, and carrying a spear. The other guard had an ape-like appearance with ferocious teeth protruding from its mouth in all directions, and wielded a mace they only grunted to each other. At this point.Levi realized the urgent need for better guards as he felt like he was trapped in the barbarian era. The guards barely spoke, communicating only through grunts. Frustrated, Levi stormed into Allee's room, only to find her missing. However, upon discovering her absence, he strategically sneaked around not to disturb the room looking for clues that could lead to who Allee is. Unable to find anything, he turned around and left the room. Levi then boldly ventured into the depths of the castle, determined to find Allee.

Allee woke up in the secret room hidden deep within the stairwell, where she had spent the night beside Damon's cradle. Damon, the extraordinary child with hell-hound qualities, had shown a healthy appetite, slept peacefully, and behaved impeccably.

In spite of her pride, Allee couldn't overlook the nagging question of her responsibility in guiding this child's upbringing in the human world. Should she instruct him to embrace his human nature or to unleash the beast within?

After making sure her child was well taken care of by Herbert, she also took a moment to kindly ask Herbert to teach her the incantation spell. However, Herbert declined, explaining that she would need to earn it. He considered the incantation spell his most sacred secret, and revealing it to someone else would be an intrusion on his personal space.

I only asked because it would decrease our dependency on you to visit Damon. Moreover, I am developing a strong attachment to him. Herbert clarified, "That is the blood bond connection you have with him as his guardian parent. Just wait until you uncover the other dimensions that the blood bond involves. However, that will happen in due time, my dear child." Herbert grinned mischievously.

Allee realized it was already past eight in the morning, she had to meet Levi at the library. She swiftly made her way there, as Herbert quietly murmuring the incantation, the door conjured by Herbert. He and Allee briskly stepped through it, finding herself on the landing of the stairs.All she had to do was climb two flights of steps and turn the corner to reach the library. However, within the labyrinth-like underworld castle, everything twisted, turned, and transformed into a mysterious path.

As she reached the library Levi came up behind her and grabbed her in a aggressive and ye playful way he wanted to know her were abouts and who would give her permission to just walk around here. Levi though to himself we don’t know Allee and what she is capable of yet. As he questioned Allee.

Allee needs to come up with an excuse for her whereabouts. She could mention her children, Herbert and Lucifer, but she fears it may cause an uproar, or in this case, a "downloader" - since they are in the underworld.

While she was lost in thought, Levi asked, "Well, where were you?"

I woke up early this morning and went to the dining hall. Herbert mentioned that I can go there anytime I'm hungry, and I think Lucifer said I can walk there to and from. After I finished eating, I came straight here.

Didn’t you invite me to the library with you yesterday?

I visited your room, but did not find you there. I wasn't aware that you had the authorization to access that area.

I am fortunate enough to have the chance to visit several unique places where I get to participate in thrilling competitions alongside Lilith. These competitions revolve around solving intriguing ancient puzzles and taking part in exhilarating races.

Upon entering the library with Levi, Allee headed straight for the books about unknown creatures and vanished civilizations. She was eager to delve into their enigmatic world once again.

Levi delved into the ancient tomes of the necromancer, seeking the history of the abyss and any being that may have endured its depths. He sought to unravel the enigma surrounding Allee's past, questioning the forces concealing her true nature. Could she harbor unimaginable power unbeknownst to herself? If so, how could this be wielded to secure her allegiance in the impending conflict?

Allee stumbled upon a neglected tome of ancient incantations. Curiosity getting the best of her, she delicately unveiled the cloak of dust that engulfed the book and commenced flipping through its pages. To her astonishment, a swarm of moths gracefully emerged from its depths. As Allee perused the enchanting contents, she discovered a myriad of spells ranging from matters of the heart, wealth, and even spells relating to animals. However, one spell in particular, named "La mora," left her puzzled. This was the very same spell that had been mysteriously cast by Joey and Lilith during the recent dinner gathering, and Parisa, too, had become entangled in its enigmatic web on to me. I am left in complete wonder about what this could be.

The spell describes the reversal of hidden curses or spells upon an individual after death, and reveals that each user will unleash different powers on people or themselves.

On the following page, there was a powerful spell to unemerge ancient shifters. The incantation read: "What was once aged shall now be renewed, the new shall return to the old, setting them free for all eternity."

To become a shape shifter, use this spell.

Allow my inner wolf to shine under the sun and moon, awakening my elemental power. Let me be transformed into my wolf form, basking in the paradise of my inner light. For those who dabble in dark magic, simply substitute the word "light" with "dark" to achieve the same effect.

These spells are fascinating. I should definitely take the time to transcribe them. They could prove to be very useful in the future.

While Levi was talking to her, Allee found herself lost in her thoughts. Suddenly, she snapped back to reality and asked, "I'm sorry, what did you say? I completely zoned out."

Levi exclaimed that he discovered something fascinating in the book of Valkyrie: a picture of a woman wearing identical armor to the one you recently acquired from the chariot race. However, this sparked curiosity as Tyson had claimed it was a unique piece with a distinctive signature. Intrigued, Levi further inquired if you had ever heard of a necromancer pit. In response, Allee said, "No."

As Levi also showed Allee book about the necromance pit, a potion that could be used in a drink, even a pond you didn’ have to have much of this liquid touch you in order for it to work. Heck their was even a spell that came close to it and it was located within the black magic realms. I belive the people that hide you away did these things to you. You need to fight back us.The underworld would never do these things to you we want you to reach your full potential here never suppress anything like the other did to you.

Out of nowhere, the library door was violently thrown open and a ferocious, untamed creature covered in blood and tar charged in. A monstrous cyclops-like creature rampaged through the room, overturning tables, throwing books, and smashing shelves with a double-bladed axe. Levi and Allee both fled in opposite directions, desperately seeking a way to evade the ferocious beast blocking the door.

As Levi cautiously approached the entrance, the beast swiftly snatched him, prompting a fierce struggle and flurry of kicks.

Allee urgently shouted, "La-mora!" and unleashed a powerful beam of light, banishing the beast but unfortunately causing Levi to fall into a coma.

Allee's voice echoed through the hallway, urgently calling for the guards, creating a commotion that drew Lilith, Lucifer, and Hades to the scene. Upon discovering Levi lying unconscious, Hades swiftly ordered the guards to confine Allee to her room until the situation was resolved.

Prior to the guards taking Allee, Lucifer pulled her aside and demanded to know what had happened. As she tried to explain Lilith intervened, claiming that Allee might be lying about her powers and what she truly is. Lilith insisted on taking her away, dismissing Allee's words.

Lilith attempts to calm down Hades, who is furious about his brother being in a coma.

Now Lilith’s plans have started to be placed into motion of she can start her take over of the underworld. Her next step is to remove Hades and Lucifer from the picture but how? At least Allee is out of the way for a bit.
